The intro is what gives me chills. It feels so empty and wrong. You don't realize whats off about it until you pay attention.

I like to interpret this as someone retelling the game when theyre older. This person probably has dementia, seeing as how most things are missing. The first time, this is them telling the story as how they remember it. The music is slower, because its really hard to remember the real speed of a song. Every time it crashes, they cant remember the rest. The second playthrough is another retelling. This time, later in their life when the dementia had gotten worse. More things dissapear and change as their memory decays further. The third playthrough, same story as the last. More things leave their memory, most of bobomb battlefield's instruments are gone, the sky is black, most text is gone. The game is starting to start feeling like a horror game. But by the last playthrough, their dementia has gotten so bad to the point where they remember a completely different game. A weird, empty horror version of sm64.
