Chinese mini excavator Mods

These are the mods I have done so far. Before any mods the hydraulic temp on a 24c day was 85c at its peak after about 2.5 hours. Today was 27c, and after 6 hours, it didn't get past 58c. The hydraulic radiator is the 13gpm version from Princess Auto. Aux lines on boom are 8l din. Return line to tank is a 15l din.

I'm leveling out an area beside a shed to add stone. Last year, it was done by hand and a manual dump cart. With the addition of the hydraulic dump trailer and mini excavator, it makes it look easy.

First time running the mini I picked up at auction. Paid $3000 usd for it. Sure beats doing it by hand. More videos to come.

First test with the new to me trac-vac. Almost finished working on it. Rained last night but very impressed with how it worked.

Plowing with a 112h. Has hydraulic set up for 2 auxiliary functions.

@@davehimlin2374 3000 usd is what I paid for it. No problems so far. I have just over 50 hours on it now.

Picking mine up 8/5/24, Viva VA 13. coming with 3 different buckets. If anyone has info. as where to where to fine extra parts for these would be great
Won a Miva VA13 today at an auction. Was lucky enough to win a hydraulic thumb and 32" hydraulic tilt bucket. Going to pick it up tomorrow. Will keep an eye on your channel to see what else you do.

Very nice ideas. I have a ton and a half machine, Love it, still need to do some more mods on mine, but it is a great machine. Opted for the Kubota, Extremely happy for that upgrade.
Nice that would be a sweet machine to have. I was considering getting a 1.5t but around me they had gas engines and are 2x the price.
I got a great deal, just about two years ago, got it for $8,800.00
@wezlax I hear that.got mine about two years ago, got it shipped to me in Louisiana, so all in all price it was $8,800.00. Came with 4 attachments as well.
If I remember right the B&G 13.5 hp unit only puts out 9 amps at full power. Be carful you may be draining your battery with too many fans and lights

@skywatcherranchswr Thanks. These things are a major back saver. I have the auger attachment as well. But haven't used it yet. I'm planning on doing some fences in the fall with it.
I also have the auger, they work great in most soil but big rocks have to be dug out. I also subbed. 😊

It's a Chinese clone.
Any idea the name and model for replacement parts?
I believe they are the RATO engines, made by the same company who makes the predator motors. Basically Honda knock offs.

My water main broke 4 days ago. I saved roughly 600 bucks trenching and back filling myself with my agt h12. If you are on the fence about buying one, just do it. There are a ton of attachments and these minis are great for home use or small landscape jobs. They do need the fans but, are cheap and fairly easy to install. Good video.
@pigthesidecardog7442 Hell ya that's awesome. I have about 100 feet of 12" sewer to do and 300ft of sub drain. This machine will be a life saver.
Got me wanting to do half that to my Komatsu 😂

@@wezlax Still a lot less expensive then a name brand, I'm going to borrow some of your tips for mine as well! Princess auto does have a good selection of hydraulic fittings, generally anyways!
@Kingsoupturbo Ya they are pretty good. Only thing my p auto didn't have was the din to npt adapters. Greenline sells them and you can order online.

I have the exact same machine. Your upgrades look excellent. I was thinking of doing the filter on the tank just as you did. What do you think about just using hose barbs and clamps since it is no pressure?Probably wont do a cooler since the machine will usually be run for 20 min or so at a time to load mud into a dump trailer. I also need to modify my bucket so the mud doesn't fall out at max height. Hope to see more videos.
Thank you. I haven't seen the filter gauge on mine move yet, so it should be fine. On a Jd tractor, I just used heater hose as a return line and it's been working fine for roughly 15 hours so far.

Hello, I bought the filter head,filter and gauge from Princess Auto. Search these skus on thier website for the items. 8006258 - filter head 8038651 - filter 8900276 - gauge
I'm lucky my Texas Rippa 1-ton came with the hydraulic thumb and floor pedals (blade/thumb). I've only needed to install a cooling fan on mine. Also, after a week I'd come to find that my right control stick has a thumb button w/ working horn 😆
Lol nice. The place that sells them around me only had these models. I didn't know they made any with thumb controlls. Floor pedals would be nice. I'll be looking at making some later this year. The horn would be good if I had a dump trailer driver lol.
