We were out filming a regular fishing video, but when we looked underwater, we were shocked by how many blue fish we saw. There were just tons of them, way more than we ever expected. The blue fish were swimming around everywhere, in big groups. We didn’t think we’d encounter this many blue fish in one spot. It was definitely a surprising find🔥

Surf Fishing with Bait Boat❗️
Переглядів 2,1 тис.10 місяців тому
Surf Fishing at Gamble Rogers State Park. There are two sides to fish here. One side is the inland waterway and the other side the surf. We caught shark, bluefish, and had some other good bites but missed them. Working on setting the bait correctly and do not always hook larger baits on right. Everything was hitting the finger mullet. Took the bait boat as well to take larger baits out further....

Enjoying the day on the surf between Flagler and Ormond Beach for fishing. With my Shimano all roller pole and Avet Reel went to try, for the first time, the bait boat in the surf. Used the drone and drop bait but a failure occurred. Watch the video to see what happens with the bait boat and drone. This guy is awesome. What an absolute find talking to him. Great share!
Thank you for watching! It is nice when you run into people like this because they have a wealth of information. 😉
where is this
Thanks for watching. The location is Ponce Inlet, Daytona
How bad is the price tag??
Thanks for watching. It was about $1200 with everything. Since it is an older model you can get it cheaper now.
I usually get 1 dozen for a Danilo rig to catch pinfish, grunts, and lady fish to catch grouper
Thanks for watching. I have not heard of a Danilo rig. I tried a net before but my line is not long enough off the pier.
@@BeyondFishingFamily my fault I typed sabiki but it autocorrects 🤦♂️
@@LandonFarrell Auto-correct can be good and bad. I have experienced that before 😁
@@LandonFarrellsquid on a sabiki works just as good for me, cheaper, and stays on the hook better
They call those Jetty Jerk Off’s. Most are purposely rude in hopes you leave. It’s close to a NYC vibe.
Enjoyed video
Thanks for watching!
Good Lord that was horrible
What was horrible, the tying, the yellow... What? You watched it though 😀
That lady never says good morning back. Lol
Cheap drone lol
It is a DJI drone but not made for fishing.
If you washed it with fresh water quickly and then blasted it out with high pressure air.....then did the rice trick qhere you bury it in rice to absorb as much water as fast as possible. I have seen that work with other electronic equipment dropped in salt water, though it's no guarantee. It may save at least some of the components, which would make replacement of the fried parts less harsh on the wallet. Worse case scenario you may have to replace a mainboard or the motors. Theres actually lots of vids here on youtube, including fixing drones that have taken a dive. You may have to open it up and dismantle it etc.....but if you can fix it, you've saved yourself 1500 bucks...and you'll know more about its internals, youll be less worried about damamging it again .....plus, you'll have the satisfaction of having fixed it...or at least tried to fix it (coz if you cant fix it, you havent made anything worse by tearing it apart lol)
That might of worked but I did not have fresh water of anyway to blow it out quickly. If I did, I do agree with you, it might have worked again.
I used to treble jig for large schools at that pier when I was young. St. Augustine is the nicest part of FL in my opinion.
Thanks for watching! St. Augustine is very nice. The pier is also nice but I wish it was a bit longer.
@@BeyondFishingFamily It was about 45 years ago until a giant hurricane knocked half of it down. There is still remnants of that storm near there on A1A when you re making that turn heading towards the old city along the water. There are still big blocks of concrete there (I think) from that storm, it was part of the bulk head.
@@hastyone9048 Interesting history, thank you for sharing. I know along the wall or walkway closest to the river there are markers where the water from some hurricane came up to.
Definitely use a circle hook and keep the hook exposed. You don't want to burry the tip in the bait. That's a good way to miss the hook set
Thank you for that advice!
Nice video. Great catch (blue fish) it suck the the cuda cut your fish
Thank you for watching and I hope you are doing well. The cuda was interesting and it did not bother me about the fish.😁 The Blue fish, the large ones, put up a good fight.
The bait shop is up the road at the marina like 5 minutes from that spot
It wasn't a Qantas drone 😃
super unlucky; should take the battery out at the first chance to stop electrolysis with salt water
I did but it was in the water so long it does not matter. Fresh water it is easier to just let it dry and usually you can recoup but salt is a different story. We have a new drone that is waterproof.
Hi! Where can we get that boat mate ?
You can look up Aquacat and purchase online. They are made in S. Africa and it usually takes about 6 months to get. Maybe it is faster now but that is how long it took me. Also, remember they do not sell the batteries which will be an extra cost to factor in.
Awesome boat.... Circle hooks are better for shark... Try and expose your hook tip, don't bury it in the bait... You'll get much more hook ups
Thank you for the advice!
Pleasure chatting with you the other day at the gardens. I never ended up caching anything that day but it was still a good day!
Thanks for watching! It was great to meet you and I am sorry you did not catch anything. We went out this weekend saw some Tarpon chasing mullet and caught a Blue but that was about it. We were competing with all the mullet in the water 😁
Beautiful Marco Island, right in front of the Sunset Grille/Paulo we shark fish down there I also work there
It is a beautiful place. I would like to get back down there at some point.
Why cut off his tail, maybe you should learn how to handle stingrays in an ethical way. Just saying
Will it be possible to use the mini DJI 3 Pro to use for this fishing
Thank you for watching. I would not recommend it. Air 2s is more capable of carry a heavier load even though it is not intended for that purpose. The Mini I would not even try.
4:31 😁
Awesome Fishing. Nice day to fish
Thanks 👍
Amazing catches. One after another. Nice Job.
It was a great day and my cooler was not big enough to handle them all. 😁
Awesome video. A lot of blue fish
Yes a lot. We have smoked some of them and they are very good smoked.
I let the clicker on while flying baits and that prevents the reel from free spooling and causing the spider web tangles
Thanks for watching. I have done that but it seems I cannot cast as far. I just have to get used to it more.
Where did you get the live shrimp
Hammock Bait and Tackle. This time of year it seems it is better to get them early or later in the afternoon. If you go around 11, 12 etc... it seems they are out.
great job and the teamwork was Excellent! <8}}}}><
Thank you for watching! It was great day of fishing
Super crowded with locals been there 2 times and the locals can be bungholes
It does get super crowded. It may be great fishing but not worth the stress of trying to find a spot all the time or it being closed when you go down.
Great video, but no thanks. 😂
9:09 RIP sam, the best bait guy in the 941
Isn’t the limit three?
There is some confusion here because there are 3 per angler but 5 per hire and other experienced anglers around us told us five as well.
Awesome catches! The water looks very clear and calm, the spot wasn’t from SW FL right?
Thank you for watching. This was Daytona beach area. When the water is calm then it will be clear but there are times it is rough but that is normal for the Atlantic side.
Pardon my ignorance but what is the minimum keeper length for a sheepshead
It is 12" at least on the North Atlantic side. It might be slightly different south of Daytone or on the Gulf side. You would think it would be consistent but it is not always. Depending on where you fish just check and verify what size and the limit are.
How’s the jack up there
I have not caught any Jack yet but there around. I caught more Jack up around the Mantanza bridge vs Ponce Inlet but that does not mean they are not there.
Im going tomorrow
Thank you for watching! Have you already went? If you did, how was the fishing?
😂😂
If you get out in that channel you can catch all kinds of stuff, makes me want to get back out there
Thanks for watching and get back out there😁
Great fishing Sir! Wonder w at.
Thank you! Watch the next video come out and it was even better fishing. 🙂
Looks like the trick is to be there when they are
Thanks for watching! That is a true, the trick is to be where they are. What the next video for even better fishing. 🙂
Are there any bait boats that come close to the AquaCat and Fishing Surfer? Only other ones I see are smaller boats for carp fishing.
Thanks for watching. I do not believe so. Everything is dependent on where and what you are fishing for. Aquacat can handle most anything and second would be fishing surfer. Aquacat is a one size fits all but it is also the most expensive.
Drowning be like-
This blind pass is the reason for me to travel 8000 kilometers from the Netherlands to Florida. It's my favorit spot since many years, beside Snook i enjoy the catch of big Redfish and lots of other species. Butt stil the Largemouth Bass at Okeechobee is my always favorit. Sad to see what is become off the Blind Pass after several storms. Great video's, Thanx for your efforts. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Your welcome, thanks for watching!
What is Blue fish? Is it Blue Cod? Great work man. Good job!
It is not blue cod. The larger bluefish come down from the North to spawn and they are down here now. Thanks for watching. Here is a link to give you more understanding of what bluefish are - www.fisheries.noaa.gov/species/bluefish
what inlet was this? great video!
@@accoladesecurity4726 Ponce Inlet. It is the Inlet between Daytona and New Smyrna Beach.
Use google earth to see where the rock piles are at for better fishing. Out going tide is best
Great job
Thanks!
What drone do u recommend
A fishing drone or purchase an older drone (ie DJI Air 2s) with an adaptor. Fishing drones are the best because other drones are not made for it but you can get by but it is not the best solution. Now after I dropped my DJI into the water I have a swellpro.
How many weight can it support?
Swell pro will handle 4 lb
With this drone, I would not put anymore than 10 oz on it including weight.
hey question ive seen u fish on sanibel island what do you use for bait for any shark type and where
I have used live Shrimp which Bonet head like. Others, finger mullet, live pins, and other fish such as Jacks, and whiting at times. Stringwray is great as well.
