Glad to be back after all this time! Uploads will be sporadic from now on. Will try to keep up with the latest and most fascinating Quake content.
Would be cool to see a total conversion using Quake's graphics while using Duke 3d's gameplay. Destructable objects and environments, interactivity, etc.
Might be possible in the near future. Someone is working on making a quake version of half life right now. Including breakable items and a gravity gun!

How do you get this episode to run? I use Quakespasm 95 and set -protocol 999 and I've tried every different command from "game coldlight" to "game id1" to making a shortcut specifically for this map pack and it always takes me to the default Quake 1 game and never to the map pack. I've downloaded dozens of map packs/episodes manually and from quaddicted and quake injector and never had this problem and yes, I know it won't run with Injector. What's the secret command to get it to run? haha

The level selection stage looks more like Half-Life Duke
This is really a magnificent level, nice creative decorations and subtle modifications of monsters that are perfectly in line with the magic ambience. A multitude of textures though, could have been a bit more thematic, but that's a matter of taste. The arrows I find mystifying, but at the same time there are perhaps subtler options available to pinpoint to things, such as a mirror room (or even a miniature model) that hints at e.g. a passage which is not directly visible in the room where it is present. By studying the mirror or the miniature version one can find out about the real passage, or button.

Fantastic
One of the best mods I’ve seen in a while. The love letter to the Elder World builds on its greatness and adds many new elements: the grenade traps with moving mouths, the sneaky spawns, the paradoxical water, the items that tease the player and teleport away. You really feel you’re in a world corrupted by evil and sorcery. Great work!

Cool. I haven't thought about Quake for a long time. It was my favorite game back in the late 90s. True story (I swear): I had been playing Quake so much back then, my reflexes had vastly improved. One day, I was driving on a road in Atlanta, Georgia (Buckhead), when a bicyclist (who was riding on my right) hit a bump and he and his bike fell right in front of my car. But, because I had been playing so many hours of Quake, it actually looked like it occurred in "slow motion" (with my Quake-heightened reflexes). All I needed to do was to drive around his head (very closely, mind you - within a couple of inches) and continue on. I looked in my rear view mirror and saw him jump up and get back on his bike, in a panic, as the event scared the sh*t out of him (Fortunately, there were no other cars on the road at that time). Seriously - if my reflexes hadn't been heightened and honed by my many hours of playing Quake, I would have certainly drove over his head, instantly killing him. So I guess you can say that Quake had a direct hand in saving someone's life. Cool, huh?
