Lack of joy = lack of worship. Idolatry = worshipping or hoping in things that will disappoint us. But, is science a a thing that will disappoint us? Is a dedication to discovering truth bound to disappoint us? We worship truth finding, although I know some people do have little respect for truth and how to use it.
