Good job, Modular Girl!
best demo of erica stereo delay. it helped my decision to grab one. the new one is not near as interesting and imo lacks character. but luckily it made the prices of the old one go down thanks
The GC is a really nice, well designed sequencer. I would echo that this is worth the hp size in a live rig. I love my Nerdseq in my 'home' rig, but this module does so many of my favourite functions in a very accessible fashion. Nice video Jade!
wow... I love this textures.. this mood.. very good composition!
The second I entered the room, you cut the live. 😢 💯❤️🖖🏼
💯❤️🔥🖖🏼
Vid was very well done as I have been looking at this module. My intentions are to run my guitar through it. Also, subbed.
Xaoc is written in Cyrillic is pronounced CHAOS.
This video is a ripoff from Jade Wii's channel 😢
worry not, this is JAde Wii :D 🙆🏻♀️
This does not make me want this less :) (Or the very tempting Voltage Lab 2!)
It sounds like space must sound behind the bookcase in Interstellar (or some Legendary Pink Dots experiments)
1010 music is one of my favourites module maker. All their products are powerful and very easy to use… I have the BB micro (I love it soooo much) and I’ll buy a Blue Box in few days. The Bitbox mk2 is on my futur shop list 😊
I wanna get one to out between my matriarch and mpc for some cool glitchy rhythmic stuff
Amazing…! I am novice in to the world of modular music .. i am fiddling with Rings n clouds .. So glad I came across this vid . Thx 🙏🏽 Is that a LFO you started strumming 10:08 ( timeline)?
Thank you for the video also the cool music ! I am planning to get a Bitbox for my system, swinging between MK2 or Micro .. your video really helped .❤
For me sequencing in the case is better for my focus. I don't like to much cable spageti leaking out of the box, like memes sometime infests reality, and have more than enough with pedals and a mixer etc. Anyway, when starting with eurorack like 7 years ago, and not really knowing synthesis, (also I don't know much music theory anyway), I got a basic Arturia keystep that very fast became boring as I didn't know how to progress my sequences in a musical way. Then a Doepfer Dark Time did my head in until I got the Instruo Harmonaigh quantizer, with a 1. 3. 5 and a 7th. outputs, and things finally became much more musical and interesting. I soon added Qu-bit Bloom, a fun and good sized module that makes it relatively simple to play evolving music, even though a bit to unpredictable, but together with Harmonaigh's keyboard, that lets me mute keys and steps, and an Intellijel Steppy, that lets me have different voices play different parts of a sequence, it is easy, fun and therefor relaxing to play better for others. Fitter, happier, more productive. : D Since then I replaced Bloom with Malekko Voltage Block, bigger but with more outputs that I use for other things than pitch control. The disadvantage of this setup though is of course the space it takes and what functions has to be sacrificed. In my case, (pun intended), I mentioned pedals, so effects probably. Recently I got another case and a Five12 Vector sequencer, rather big but not as big as the first system's sequencer. With an expander I could get more than two pitch sequences, and gates going at the same time, and make it bigger : ( but I very seldom found use for more than one pitch sequence at once, as I usually send the same to all soundsources, (except if through Harmonaigh of course), and I can get gates from elsewhere, like Pamela's new Workout, that btw can be a decent sequencer in it self. As many said, the type of sequencer one likes is a very personal thing, and most will probably spend much time in limbo, like laser swords, what type of ring you chose in Middle Earth or dinosaur you think is best. I got a 2HP Arp recently, can very much recommend.
Awesome video, thanks for the clear function explanations!
That was beautiful, really nice vibes ! 👏
Curious what you think of the qu-bit nautilus, if you've gotten to play with it.
I was never sure if i would like that layout of this module in my system, but this video has changed my mind for sure. This is a cool module
Lovely, but I think this will have to go in the "Things I really want but don't have room for" section of my wishlist
I usually sequence from ableton, but was looking for some light sequencing to have in-rack for when I don't feel like connecting everything to my PC. This module along with Marbles is a godsend. Sure sometimes I miss 16 step patterns, but for the size you can't beat it. Quickly switching patterns when they end can give me a somewhat 16 step sequence, although it involves manual elbow grease. Wish It had 16 steps. No space for a varigate 8+.
Yeah good ass module. This demo is fairly new but I can almost swear that I’ve seen it video way back, though a bit different 🤔
I almost never use rings without patching the input. * in a feedback loop - can be harsh or sonorous if the gain is controlled * Beads into Rings - sparse short grains create really natural sounding resonances * "complex oscillator" sounds - rings becomes a tool for modulating timbre in an atonal synth lead, eg for techno or psytrance
BTW "modal" refers to "normal modes" which is a physics concept referring to the "characteristic frequencies" at which an object will rotate or vibrate.
Well actually, XAOC is supposed to be pronounced, "Peanut Butter."
8min 😍
Amazing content! Too bad not more people she your reviews...
A legit banger! So many great sessions on this playlist Big ups JadeWii!
Workflow unlike any sequencer I’ve ever seen. Is it knob-per-function, because it didn’t look that way. Btw, Rings into Desmodus Versio shuts people up!
😣 *Promo SM*
Jade? Cool didnt know about this channel, as i do euro rack more and more with my mpc and without i will keep checking this channel. Edit:woah this sequencer is siiiiiickkkk, the keyboard built in is genius
nice video and totally agrre with what you say in the end about activating different part of the brain than playing an instrument ! thank you ! i'm interested in this sequencer, i have a qubit bloom, but a bit frustrated by the not being able to do ratchets ...
This video has been stolen from jade Wii’s channel. This is just someone uploading stolen content.
Fun video
After having both for the same reason , finally i decided to go for the micro (actually i have 2), combined with the tiptop circadian rythm, a great combination.
Dopeeee
Sick. That swing-y sequence around 17:00 induced stank face.
🤙🌌😍

Nice setup! What is the website you use to get super cheap modules?
Not a thing anymore 🥲
@@ModularGirl damn
I couldn't really figure out what Rings was now I think I have a pretty good idea thanks!
Wow, that sounded absolutely amazing. The Taiga has so many unique flavors. I wonder what you had connected to the two pink patch cables that went over the keyboard? Another sound source or a source of control signals?
Took a minute to get there but finally tamed the beast towards the end 🤣 Patch cables weren't going into anything, just the Taiga into itself running into the SP-404 MKII where I added some FX
You might vibe with the NerdSEQ if you like this 🙏🏻
Beauteous
What a cool way to process acoustic guitar!
Fantastic 🎹 ! Watch also my synth jams videos and my project Gazillion Zero and follow me on my UA-cam Channel! 🤟🤘
Lovely work on this M G !
Great work
Thank you! I love this one, probably one of my faves. Will be on a future album for sure!
