A few clips from an impromptu cycling trip to Jim Thorpe on July 3, 2017. Reading Blue Mountain and Northern 425 was in charge of pulling the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway's passenger trains for the weekend. Had the opportunity to ride behind and get a few passing shots. As usual the railway and steam crew did not disappoint!

Managed to find a few hours to follow Black River and Western's #60 making the last of the railroads summer runs one afternoon. Also made a great opportunity to test out the new Gopro.

On the weekend of October 17-18, 2015 my father and I had the pleasure of riding behind and chasing Reading Blue Mountain and Northern's Pacific class #425. The steam and train crews did a fantastic job getting our train over the mountain on very slick rails and put on a fantastic show in the process! Thanks to all of the staff involved, we had a great time and can't wait for next years trips!

I found this video nostalgic. It is my understanding that this sawmill was donated by my Uncle Joe Prakopcyk. I vividly remember sawing lumber on the farm as a teenager in the 1960s on this mill. I was the guy running the carriage back and forth. My uncle originally tried to power this mill with a Ford flathead V8 and, later, with a Buick straight 8. Neither one had enough horsepower to do the job. He eventually ended up powering it with a Continental 427 cubic inch L-head six. That motor had no problem running the mill!! Uncle Joe also had a antique planer set up that was powered by a John Deere engine.
This might be a few years too late, but the framerate is awful, it stutters too much when 425 is on the screen
Fantastic! One of the best videos I've seen yet. Bravo! The valve timing is spot on. Exhaust beats could not be more equal.
