@@CigarCarpenter I bought a 10 pack. I still have nine aging so I hope I didn’t get ripped off. I bought them online. I thought they might be counterfeit. I did a video on it.
@@OpusXcigars I watched the video and the short. It looks right. To answer the question in the short, it doesn't have the same wrapper as the OpusX. It's a Cameroon wrapper. The one in the video looks legit. You might have got really unlucky with that one having improperly fermented tobacco in it, producing the tar. I've never had that issue with them. What RH do you store at? How long have you been smoking? And do you enjoy other Don Carlos vitolas?

My every morning cigar....you need to smoke it with coffee in my opinion. Perdomo makes solid sticks.
If I'm having a morning cigar just to have it, I have coffee with it. For review, I don't pair with anything. Don't want to skew the flavor notes.

I’ve had Bandolero I’ve had Byron and Atabay and not one of them. Cigars is worth the money not when I can find something for the $12-$15 range. That’ll knock my socks off just as much don’t get me wrong they are great Cigars though I’m not hating at all that price range is crazy.
They're definitely not regular cigars in my rotation. But I do feel there's more to them than most any cigar in that 12-15 range. Is it 3x as good? Probably not. But I feel they're worth picking up occasionally.

What a great review Mike. Listening to your tasting notes made me hungry and eager to try this. 8” had to be an investment in time, kind of wished you had your Unbanded driveway background to see it go from day to night on that big boy. Cashew bready notes are 🔥to me

Sounds like a lot of nice flavors going on . I love smokes that have sunflower seed notes going on . The montecristo nicaraguan by AJ has a ton of sunflower seeds for me along with smooth pepper .

@jtaylor9990 very different. I'm not a huge fan, but I haven't given them a fair shot. As far as the 80RG Asylum goes, I don't think I would ever willingly purchase that cigar. I rarely enjoy 60RG cigars. Maybe I will try it sometime. But unlikely.
I do not understand the love for the joya de Nicaragua Connecticut CT. I tried to like them but just no flavor and couldn’t get into them.
