I'm looking for stability and strength building exercises for my 67 year old mother. She has very poor athletic ability. Terrible and crooked body structure. Been having her do step ups and tibialis exercises so far. Looking for things that are safe and effective
Doing some research on appropriate movements is a wonderful thing you are doing for your mother.
What's this do?
It is a full-body exercise that targets core/shoulder stability and strengthening the hip flexors. I specialize in creating custom workout plans for remote clients with an option to add on virtual private training for live continuing education. A movement like those would be assigned to a client with additional instructions.

Thanks! Your videos are so helpful! One more request, if that's ok? Im training for a half marathon and was wondering if you could do a video of post run stretches I can do? That would be amazing if you could add your expertise.
@@DConfessional8 congrats on training! when is it? I'll do my best to make a few videos specific for running. in the meantime, helpful Videos I've already made: elevated pigeon flow, Spiderman flow, hamstring stretch standing (this includes an internal rotation stretch too), hamstring stretch supine, calf/heel chord mash, foam rolling the quads/it band, and couch stretch for quads/hip flexor. What I would add for exploration and haven't done videos for, would be psoas and internal hip rotation mash with a ball, shin mash with a foam roller or ball, and foot mashing. It's quite a lot so I would choose 2-3 where 1-2 is a staple that you NEED, and 1 where you rotate out. hope that's helpful!
Late May. So as my training intensifies, I feel a little more pain and have to really stretch. I watched several of the videos you suggested and they are very helpful. Look forward to more stretching videos.
@@DConfessional8 Ah, well good luck with your race! it's coming up! Before a running workout, I like to do Chris Hinshaw's running warm up, I prefer to massage target issues *after* the warm up, but it's preference if you want to do it before the warm up. After you run and on your rest days, choose a couple stretches that target your needs and help you feel better recovered. I'll likely put the videos in a separate playlist for "running specific" prep and recovery. Because running incorporates highly repetitive muscle use, I'm a firm believer in cross training to help combat typical over-use aches/pains/injuries.
