But yet, RC Plane flyers Hate Drones and their pilots because of un-safe flyers? I fly both and the circuits on the guys foreheads was a little much.

G'day from Oz, That square in the water is a road barrier, in the video the is an orange one , we have had a few floods and they have washed into the dam😁

How did you get up safe mode to work on a new radio? I have a radiomaster zorro using Edge TX and cant seem to be able to turn off safe mode

@@Pe5jJ9 Because you can flat spin a lot faster with differential thrust specially when your fpv and have goggles on , just do it for the fun

Looks like a lot of fun. One thing I started doing was embedding some string on the trailing edges and leading edges with Gorilla glue, it can prevent a lot of the splitting that happens. Same technique can be applied to other weak areas of fuselage.
Interesting geometry in that printed(?) motor mount. Seems to fly well. 👍👍
It wasn't printed, He just made it to fit an old motor that was in his box of left overs,

These cheap foamies are the best thing since sliced bread! We run twins off similar salvaged gear but use a full house AETR (no diff-thrust yet) with a Radiolink Byme-A stab in deference to our age. Wings left stock and ailerons at the wingtips for a very nice roll rate. 3S on 5x4.5x3 props with the motors mounted a little higher than yours on Al angle screwed onto the wing bottom with plastic wall plugs set in the wings. A bit of box handle plastic wrapped and hot glued around the bottom and nose of the fuse makes a great landing skid and beefs up the front. And a shelf full of replacement frames should keep us going till permanent leg-up time! 😜 🙃
One can assume that this is not up here in the north of the country? Up here he wouldn't get his feet wet. 1 of our oversized "lizards" slipping under the water would have him walking on it at 100miles an hour! 🙄😬😬

Comparing video footage of a plane and actually flying line of site are 2 different things, I agee the video footage does make it look far away, the camera was sitting on my hat, no zoom and on the day I had problems trying to control the plane, then it just hurtled to ground, for no apperent reason ,it already had been rebuilt 3 times ,this was just a test, Thanks for your in put anyway , 🧐

I believe you may have lost signal. If it were your motor you would still have control over the plane. I saw a spektrum rx. I was a distributor for horizon and refuse to ever use a spektrum. Sorry m8
