Amazing, I found a video tour of the first Piece en Piece home I contracted for Building with Logs in Midhurst Ont. I am going to have to drop by and introduce my self to the proud owners. Built in 1981, the design featured 12" x12' solid oak posts spaced every 4 feet around the perimeter sitting on 12" x 12" oak bottom plates and and top plates. The horizontal filler's were solid 10" x 10" white pine tongue and grooved. The roof Trusses were 6" x 10" mortise and tenon as were all of the oak frame. Hand cut and pounded with chisel and Ironwood mallet! As a cottage roof the end trusses were sawn as parallelogram beams to match the roof pitch by our sawyer(tricky work) So happy to see it still thriving.

Decent place, only problem is, it's in Wasaga Beach. Wasaga Beach is a shit hole, a town where local council only cares about tourism, and NOT the locals. Do not buy here...
