The last time I was there I was 64 years of age, planning to go again when 69, with friends who are over 70. By the way, there is a much more impressive high trail on the opposite side of the valley from Tengboche. The Mong La - Phortse - Pangpoche High Scenic Trail offers vastly better views, lots of wildlife and practically no other trekkers. Tengboche can be visited on the way down.
