This channel follows the adventures of Kevin and Donna, a South African couple, who have had numerous overlanding adventures, the biggest being driving their Landrover Defender through Africa, Asia and Europe, from Dundee in South Africa (Kevin’s place of birth), to Dundee in Scotland (Donna’s place of birth).
They have written a fantastic and exciting book, which is a great adventure read and has received incredible reviews, called “DUNDEE 2 DUNDEE”, and they have now built their Overlander truck, “THE BUFFALO”, with which they continue their adventures in Africa, Europe and the Americas.

Some Bad News
Some bad news for our ardent UA-cam followers. We have been suspended from posting ‘monetised’ footage, for 3 months, for apparently posting something that we shouldn’t have. Hopefully they will allow us back on 20th December and we will have some AMAZING footage ready for you all…

Always good to go along on these adventures with you, but must say that it makes me very envious as I love the bush. Just as a matter of interest is there any restrictions of the GVM of vehicles entering the park? Your Isuzu has been setup for an almost home away from home experience, but it is a big vehicle.
Thanks so much for the follow and glad you enjoy it with us . There is no restriction in the Kruger, and we have travelled to all the parks in Botswana, Zambia, Namibia and Zimbabwe and elsewhere and we have never been restricted. Gonerezhou in Zim do limit rigs above 7tons, but we were fine , with a GVM of 6.2 tons. 👏🙌

What would be the best way in making SA an open Country like Australia, Canada and USA?, Presently we are a fenced Country.
Hi there . I am not sure what you mean by an ‘open country’ or South Africa being a ‘fenced country’. Countries like Australia, Canada and USA also have strict rules when entering or leaving the country, as do we, but South Africans are free to travel . If I’m misunderstanding your comment, please let me know
@@thebuffalooverlander I was reffering to vast wild open ,connected travelling and camping. Namibia is also mainly wild ans Open. Imagine a Joll we can be, if we would join the Farms with a Tourism and Camping route , it could open up another level of Travelling , Touring and Overlanding within SA.

Thanks for the update. Can't wait to see you're videos. I wonder if we meet. I also go to Punda, Shingwedzi and Letaba (and more down south). I've been to SA in 2017 with my sister. Did a trip with a camper. In 2022 again, 3 weeks, with my kids. And loved it again. Never felt unsafe. SA people are so friendly! It was then, in 2022, that I realized I want to go to Kruger, alone (I'm from the Netherlands). And I did in March last year. Again in nov and May this year. I come back end of Oct for 17 nights. Looking forward to it!

@@thebuffalooverlander no, that was not me...I was in Shingwedzi in March. But not as comfortable, alone, one my first trip. Now it's really different 😂. I love it!! Hope to meet you two in person on my next trip. In the meantime....Keep up the good work😅

Awesome trip, I’ve just returned from beach hopping Beira to Kosibay over 4 weeks. If you’re worried about the trucks at Kommatipoort / Lebombo how about using Giriyondo border directly into Kruger.?
@@markyeadon7271 we have done that Giriyondo and it’s a good one . We were actually saying tonight that we will probably do exactly that . Thanks Mark. Any absolute ‘must do’ beach campsites that we should do ?
I really likedVista da Bazaruto, about 6 km down the beach from Inhassoro. Run by Lourens from Dumela Wilderness Safaris in Pafuri. Access is via thick sand roads or if you get the timing right, down the beach from Brisa Mar restaurant.

If possible show us the units in the camps from outside/ inside. Because we only know unit numbers like BD2V, BD3 but no idea how they are different from each other. Some more of a walk through or drive through each rest camp would be interesting. Cheers
