I discovered your channel today and enjoyed the two videos I have watched. Congrats on acquiring your grail! SS #4 is a book that is definitely worth pursuing in high grade to fully appreciate John Buscema’s cover masterpiece.

I’ve seen books with multiple ticks and bent edges I’vee bought pregeaded as a 7.5. I’ve sent books in myself barely cornered and only got a 8.0 I think the age of digital grading is coming to scan all defects and be overviewed by a knowledgeable grader. This will help biased opinions whether someone is having a bad day and looking at your book that and I wouldn’t doubt someone in time has slipped them a couple Hundreds $ bills before hand as well

This is my first time checking out your channel. I gotta say, you have some wonderful silver age gems there. I'm a silver age guy myself, raised in the 1960's when all these were new. Throughout this post you mention the duplicates, triplicates etc. and that is music to my ears! Congratulations on the grades and especially the FF #55 in an 8.0 grade, it looks amazing. BTW, if you happen to have a raw copy of ASM #50. feel free to check out my childhood letter from 1967! Stan called me Joey. Left page, bottom left. I was 11 years old. I’m older, and one reason for slabbing is to make it easier for my kids who inherit my collection to get proper value

Great video. I’ve been organizing my collection lately and I was thinking about getting a couple of my key issues graded. Such as Marvel Spotlight issue number 5, Ghost Rider #1 volume one, and maybe Star Wars #1. This would be for my personal collection not to resale or anything. What about an X-Men number 6. Was a little bit of damage on the top cover and back cover a little care at the top of the book goes all the way through. Got the size of a small pinky on a child. What do you think?

I really like that ASM 50, it's gotten expensive. If you have an eBay store you could include a link. I like checking out what venders have for sale if they include a link.

I'm betting there is a little bump up at least 150 200% backup so you can make a little bit money off of it if you have to or just hang on to it.

You cant drop 300% unless the current price is a negative 200% meaning they give you the comic and money in the amount of double what the price used to be. You can only drop 100% which means the comic is free.

No FF Books wow I’m surprise lol. No I think the rarity of the $.30 price. Regardless of the book is worth a lot and even in the high grade. People just collect the 30 cent variant. I believe This franchise or base characters will come back strong. Great pick ups I love that Unboxing videos.

This guy seems nice enough, but my issue with all these startup comic book channels is they promote themselves as collectors, but they are all really low-level self-funded or family-funded resellers. This guy is more transparent about that fact than most. These guys will say the hobby funds itself, then it is not really a hobby; it's a business venture that fact seems to get lost. If he was showing real-estate property flips, no one would care, but because we all love the hobby, we tune in. Who, while raising a family, has thousands of extra dollars to put in suspense for a few years while trading up? Not most working folks. I personally have gone on Craig's list and turned over books for a profit, usually from someone's misfortune, like a death in the family or a business failure. Of course, that's not a compelling story, so you won't hear that too often. With all that said, this is a great hobby that gives as much as it takes, and since there is some degree of transparency, I wish the channel success.

Right on! New viewer. Good show. People think you can just go buy something and flip it that quick and it's not that way. You got to work up to it like you did sometimes to get what you really want. And you feel better too.

Dang man I sent in ONE book, fast track economy, and it was received on 7/1/22 and it’s still “scheduled for grading.” CGC can be very frustrating lol. Great books buddy!
