The person I am excited to see back is Alison Sweeney as Sami Brady. I love her! She has been very busy with her Hallmark movies, thats why we haven't seen her in the last few years. She's great in those too!

I sadly see EJ killed. But it wasn't same after James Scott. I think it would be a nice touch to have Kate's son back with Sami. I hear that they may consider and have Lucas be the father of the twins. Without James Scott - EJ just has never brought excitement and energy. I am sure writing and Alison Sweeney on only periodically. But I am sure Dan Ferragamo will find more tv and movies ahead. This has been a nice stretch on Days for his resume

Yes I remember Stephanie Cameron as Jennifer and it was an unsuccessful recasting! Especially when Mark Valley and then Steve Wilder came along! Completely recasting a popular supercouple was bound to fail. The only time I've seen it work in recent years is with Shawn and Belle. Peter Blake's name only comes up whenever there's a diMera stockholders voting needed! He should come back, but recast if it's going to conflict with Melissa Reeves. Personally I don't mind Cady McClain filling in when needed, but it's always nice to have the original back to play her.

It is with sadness to say that Wayne Northrop (Days of our Lives) passed away on 29 November 2024. He was 77 years old. It is just a day after this video was made.
