The All-In-One Overland Electrical System - Craft Autoworks OES Pro
Переглядів 6 тис.2 роки тому
Introducing our new line of electrical systems, the Overland series. These systems are purpose built for integration into Overland, Off Road and Compact Camper Vehicles. Most portable camping batteries on the market have only one high amperage DC input (solar) and very few DC outputs, while usually having a huge inverter for AC output. This means you cant charge most units quickly while driving...
I was hopeful to use a 48v AC unit for efficiency reasons in my van. Did I hear you correctly that this is still just 12v only? Thanks.
Love it - Thought about fold out legs underneath?
wow! i was planning on the EcoFlow PowerKit.. but just found this and I'm impressed! I'll be contacting you guys when i get my van.
@@LeeHounshell Thanks! We've had many people switch from Ecoflow to our system and be very happy with it. We have these units in stock and ready to ship!

I just bought one of these vans and started building it
What model is the top roof rent and what roof rack is it?
Nice looking unit guys! Question, is the control panel detachable so i can relocate in the van living area for monitoring purposes? I would have to mount this in my garage so won't be able to easily see what's going on. Does the control panel shows what's coming in for power or would need to buy something else for that? Thank you!
Hi, the white control panel for the Inverter/charger can be relocated in the van, but that's the only part. The system also has bluetooth monitoring via the Victron BMV-712 so there is very little need to actually touch the face of this unit often.
Do you work on smaller vans such as the Nissan NV 200?
Yes, we take on jobs for smaller vans on a case by case basis, just depends on what exactly you are wanting to do to it. Please reach out to us via our website and we'll get back to you soon. Thanks!
I need one
In about 4 weeks. I might have the extra cash to order this Amazing compact build for my overland rig
Awesome! We have these in stock and ready to ship.
Could this theoretically be adapted with a flip top bed to accommodate my passenger model? Not much point in being able to sleep 4 if you can only ride 2.
Is there a bed drawer that would hold this (for sliding out from the bed perpendicular to the tailgate)?
Yes, most larger Fridge Slides will work with this, just check the dimensions. Something like the Iceco VL75 Slide should work
Im station in japan,i need one of these for the van, please help
Looks like a nice setup. |'d swap out the NOCO charger for a Victron though. I haven't had much luck with them and they don't have a great low temperature operating range.
Thanks! We've been using the Noco chargers since we first released this product and have never had a single failure, they are absolute top quality chargers.
What is the price of this kitchen
Check out our website for up to date pricing. We also announce sales on our instagram page.
Where, into what does it drain, i.e. how is grey water handled?
The sink simply lifts out with the grey water in it and can be dumped or stored.
correct!
Seems like a lot of weight... with all the stuff inside.... Yes?
Not at all. The Payload capacity of the Ram Promaster City is over 1700lbs. The entire build in this, with the roof top tent, is well under 500lbs. It drives great.
Like! Respect! Super! We're good! Good Like 😊!
Love this build - very clean and maximized space. Well done!
Thank you so much!
You guys do awesome builds great thinking, you got a new follower.
Much Appreciated!
Really like the 2nd row seats. How easy are they to install and remove?
Initial installation is pretty involved, quite a few holes to be drilled and the diesel tank needs to be lowered. Once the mounting brackets are in the seats attach with 5 bolts. Technically they can be taken out and put back in as desired, but they certainly aren't quick release. You'll need tools and ideally two people to take the captains chairs in and out.
Nice build 👌🏼 the only thing I would do differently would be a wider window on the left side rear passenger - it seemed quite small?
All of our builds are unique to each client, and as such we allow them to customize them significantly to their exact use case. We discussed doing the factory sized full window on the drivers wall, but since it would have overlapped with the kitchen and created some weird visual and functional transitions, they opted to do a smaller window instead.
@@craftautoworks yeah fair enough
love it!!
Thanks! This might be our favorite build so far to come out of the shop.
nice, thats solid
Thank you!
Great build.
Thank you!
This looks great. Just wish it had a more bare bones option that left out the plates, poutches and cutlery. If you ever make one with just the sink and hookups, Im all in!
Hi, the reason we normally sell this fully stocked with all the GSI components is that the dimensions are very specific and we picked items that perfectly fit the Kitchen. That being said, if you'd like to purchase one without the GSI items, hit us up via the contact form on our website and we'll be happy to provide you a custom set up.
would be nice to buy just the lift, how much would that be?
Love this build. I have a few questions. What lift did you use and rim and tire size. I love the molle system and the portable power unit. Are you planning on selling the molle panels.
Hi, if you'd like more specific info, please fill out the contact form on our website. Thanks!
Very nice.. I've seen others build these compact vans. Yours I definitely like. Use put time into it to utilize all available space and still be comfortable inside. I love the fact you put the roof top tent on the van. Only thing missing is solar. But I'm sure use have models with solar. I love it. Great job 👍👍
Thanks! We really worked to dial this model in space wise. All of our builds come with a 120 watt portable solar panel. We almost always steer towards portable rather than fixed mounted panels since it lets you park in the shade and then toss the folding panel 30+ feet away (on our extended cables) in the sun. That way you get power without turning your van into a solar oven!
Agreed. Love the power system in such a small vehicle and the thoughtful storage options. How much does the lift and upgraded tires add to base model?
Hi, the 30mm Lift, Sparco Wheels and All Terrain Tires with install is a $2500 option.
Thank you. In the video I didn't see the indoor sleeping system setup. What does that consist of?
This looks pretty awesome why would someone buy this vs something like a yeti 1500x? This is an honest question I’ve just started researching these units because I needs something for longer camping trips.
That's An excellent question and one we will be making a whole video on soon. There's four main differences: Charging System, Battery Type, DC vs AC outputs, and Enclosure The charging system in the OES has dual DC input, and most important, 360watt charging from 12v allowing you to fast charge from the vehicle. The Yeti has fast solar charging but only can fast charge from your vehicle with their Vehicle Integration Kit which is a $450 additional purchase. The OES uses a LiFePO4 Self heating battery which is good for over 4000 cycles and can be used in winter applications. If the battery detects that its below freezing when you go to charge it, it will automatically divert the incoming power to the heating system, warm up the battery, and then switch back to charging without you having to do anything. The Yeti uses a Li-Ion battery that's only good for around 400 cycles and has no cold weather protection system. The OES features 80amps of DC outputs since most everything used in vehicle applications is DC (12v) but we still include a 500watt AC inverter to run small AC appliances. The Yeti is primarily AC (120v) output since it was originally designed for home backup use. It does have 1 cigarette outlet, some USB ports and a 30a DC output port, but that 30a again requires adapter cables to allow you to use it in any meaningful way. Finally, the OES is built in a Front Runner case and does not require active ventilation. The Yeti has ventilation ports on it with fans which are likely to cause problems in heavy dust, rain or snow. At the end of the day, they are really two different tools for two different jobs. If you have a lot of AC load, don't use you system often and can keep it inside, the Yeti may be a better choice. If you are primarily using this for vehicle applications and need something that can charge fast, power all your DC appliances and handle the abuse of off road or overlanding, the OES really shines. If you have any further questions just let us know!
@@craftautoworks Thank you guys for the response I greatly appreciate it.
