It's CRIMINAL that this whole performance was taken down and never put up again not too long after the 2013 Oscars. It WAS on here, I saw it. Sadly, Ryan Gosling's amazing 'I'm Just Ken' performance earlier tonight on the Oscars will likely be taken down as well. God forbid anyone should see REAL talent! Thanks Internet, just keep feeding us soul killing crap and mediocrity! Keep taking down anything of real value! I am so disgusted.

Have not watched the Oscar's since that night in 2013. She was the only reason I watched it that night as well.

I can't remember the act that had to follow Shirley Bassey, I think Adele. Anyways, talk about a hard act to follow. Adele sounded like a schoolgirl after this great woman.

I watched this hiding behind the couch. I’ve admired Shirley Bassey for 40 years, what an outstanding performer, but when she was rolled out to do this performance in front of her peers at the end of her career I was very very worried. The old saying says that you are only as good as your last performance and my heart was in my mouth when she almost stumbled on the very first note. However, the great Shirley Bassey took control of this song, took control of the stage, commanded the respect of millions around the world with this outstanding performance which resulted in a standing ovation from the very best talent Hollywood has to offer. Congratulations Dame Shirley, you proved that night that you are quite simply amazing. Love you kid.
