Does that engine have any kind of gear reduction in it? I made a ton of progress on mine today and it has NO power. lol
Centrifugal clutch with 7 teeth, the sprocket on the wheel has 38 teeth. The clutch burnt up fast on ours. It's not meant for that kind of weight.
@Fabfactory Yeah lmao. Mine is on an 8 tooth and a 28 tooth and it won't even move with me on it. I guess I gotta build a little jack shaft for it

I'm obsessed! I wanna build one too. What's the plan for the throttle so it doesn't twist the cable up?
Stay tuned, we are filming Sunday and we will be diving into throttle routing, fuel tank, and kill switch. I just installed a thumb throttle on the drift bar handle. I think slack and proper routing should be sufficient to keep the throttle from binding. The razor and taxi garage crazy carts allow for about 180 degrees of steering in either direction, so that's my goal on this.
@Fabfactory Ohhhhh I thought they were 360°. 180° is simple enough. Sounds rad! Can't wait to see it!
Thanks! We try to have a video uploaded every Thursday. We will most likely be building one or two more. This one was a prototype, and we plan on changing the drivetrain significantly, I'll be posting videos on that as well.
