I know everyone shipped these two, but even though we were kinda disappointed it doesn't mean we were wrong and the love wasn't there. Booker always was protective of Elizabeth and saved her multiple times throughout the game like a father who tries to watch over his child and Elizabeth always felt safe when she was with Booker just like a daughter with her father. It was a different kind of love between them than what we expected, but I think it makes for a much better story and I like the ending we got even though it's sad

I shipped REALLY hard during the playthrough and was SO bummed out that they ended up being related, lol. It took me YEARS to get over that mindfuck.
