@@gmascagni It's pretty obvious what generation you're from with no helmet and pads lol. I'm gonna miss that generation hahaha! I don't think I wore a helmet on a bike in my entire life. I've got a lot of miles on a bike, too. You'll get it.

Have you ever used a Split type camera and watched back the footage?? Dji wins on just transmission dvr. Crazy. Your roll stick seems “tight”. Mechanical so to speak. Let me let you borrow the dji controller and just change receiver in beta flight and bind to the vista. Those stick are set well and I want to see footage and compare. Otherwise, it’s clear your confidence level is increasing! Enjoyed it. Remember to play with focus mode with a pack, then high quality with a pack and then low latency with a pack. Dvr and compare

@@421mantis yeah I agree just in general the stick movements seem jerky not smooth. I've tried to loosen the sticks a bit but that hasn't helped. It needs to be smoother. The radio im using has smaller gimbals and I think it's more sensitive may need to swap to a different radio. Thanks for the tips.

Unfortunately I did burn out one of the 1306 4000kv on those massive props. Yeah on a 550 I still get 4min which is more than enough. Ive got some more motors on the way. Just need to disable turtle mode or get something a bit more robust. But those RCX for $7 a pop are hard to beat.

Yeah it's fun. I have another field I practice but it's on large trees. At least on the football field I cant get it stuck anywhere. I need to find a good spot to try some Matty Flips. Those are super cool.

What motors are you going with? The 1204's are slightly under-powered for this build. I have some 1206's 6500kv on now a lot more power but not sure I like how it flies. Motors get pretty warm on those too. It's definitely quicker though.

@@gmascagni I'm still shoppin' for motors... I'm thinking Flywoo 1404 4850kv at the moment.

Typically I mount the cap right on the battery leads next to the XT30 connector. I put a little hotglue on the solder joints and under the cap to keep it from bouncing around then add a bit of heatshrink around the whole thing. Make sure you use a good low ESR cap name.

dang I forget it's what ever the Stage 2+ is MDH is. It was a good cheap setup.

Be aware maintenance above all else should be done prior or your gonna have a lot of Gremlins running around trying to figure out what's going on. ARM 7" FMIC, ARM DP, ARM CP, Stage 2+ MDH canned tune that was it. Made good power for what it is. Was gonna do fuel pump run 30% E85 and inlets would have gotten close to 500whp but sold the car. ARM gets a lot of hate but they make great products and worked great for me.

@@gmascagni dude nice. I was FBO with all ARM Motorsport stuff on my 2007 335xi before I sold it back in May. Got a 2017 X3 with the N20 to change things up. Can’t wait to go FBO in it

I upgraded the FPV Camera to the 1.2g 1000tvl camera on bang good. It was a good upgrade and better than stock. But to be honest the best option is to get a RunCam Micro and a new frame. The video on the RunCam Micro is much much better than ANY AIO camera. The difference is well worth the $30 for the camera.

Yes that was the stock setup. The reason you see me doing crazy flips is because I raised the RC Rates to make it more response. Now I did upgrade the motors later but to be honest it did not make that much of a difference. I would look for a micro brushless quad. These brushed quads just dont hold a candle to the more powerful brush-less versions.

Yes I setup Acro, Horizon and Angle modes on a 3 position switch.
