I'm not a Christian anymore, but I do respect Flying House and Superbook. They were one of my first (along with Robotech) introduction into anime.

I grew up watching them ever since I was a little girl growing up. At 41, I'm still listening!!!! ❤❤❤

this anime is actually pretty underrated nowadays now that i think about it..

My parents taped an episode of this from CBN in the 80s. The recording cut off at 1:09, so it wasn't until I saw reruns on TCT and UA-cam many years later that my concerns were assuaged: yes, the house teleported out in time. I do wish someone had a recording of the CBN intro complete with the logo. I remember having creepy thoughts about what that logo would look like if I woke up in the middle of the night and saw it luminous over the foot of my bed.

Makes me wish i had a time machine😢

This segment always reminded me of how wasteful I was with the time I was given, I never stopped to contemplate the events of the day like they did despite the fact we only will only see each day once in our life times

I first watched this anime classic on TV back in the year 2000 as a rerun. While I was watching the theme opening and thought it was quite cute 🥰 When I saw the copyright 1982 I was surprised how old this cartoon was. Then again, the theme intro is cute 🥰

complete series dvd/Blu-Ray release. I'd like to see that happen.

My Saturday morning childhood on TBN, OMG seeing this takes me back to that time.

This is number one on my favorite Colby’s Clubhouse songs list. I’ve had this song in my heart ever since I first heard it as a little seven-year-old. This song like I’ve mentioned to you before was originally recorded a year prior to this episode by HeartSong for their fourth and final album “Faith On The Line” (the title song from that album also used in Colby’s Clubhouse during season 3 I might add!). This song, “Lead Me Higher”, “The Lord Is My Strength”, “Just Open the Door”, “If You Need Someone”, “Psalm 139 Rap”, and even “Shine Jesus Shine” (the version the kids do in the season 2 finale), were all originally recorded by HeartSong and reused for the Colby’s Clubhouse series. I have the fourth album. This particular song and “If You Need Someone” were the only songs that changed from the original. The “Great Is Your Faithfulness (to your Children)” was a half step lower than this version in terms of song key. The keyboard parts were just as awesome as this version. It actually had a heavier and more prominent rock-ish beat than the heavier disco beat as heard in this version. The original version of “If You Need Someone” was a whole step lower than the version the Colby Kids did. HeartSong did the song in the key of D, the Colby kids did it in E (I’m speaking in terms of song key).

This is another HeartSong original song. This song was originally in a completely different key when Peter and Hanneke Jacobs originally wrote it for HeartSong back in 1991. And this song led off HeartSong’s second studio album coincidentally titled “Stand Up For God”. I personally like this version of the song better because it’s in a better key for me to sing. So, fun fact: Crystal Lewis was on the debut album series “Breakaway Praise” produced by Colby’s Clubhouse show creator Peter Jacobs. She did this exact song to lead off the first Breakaway Praise album. In fact, this arrangement of the song is Peter Jacobs’s arrangement that Crystal has been known for all these years. That’s how Colby knows Crystal. She knew Colby’s creator and voice, Peter Jacobs. I personally love this version with the kids because the album version cuts off when the kids get the lead towards the end of the song. This is what I’d consider the full cut of the song.

That was awesome how the grown ups who were kids from the 1980's joined the kids in the 1990's in the middle of the singing. This can be a great praise and worship song at church.

Nostalgia 😍😍 ! I watched this show on TBN on Saturday mornings as a kid. I liked a lot of the kids shows every Saturday morning but Colby’s Cluvhouse was always my favorite! Brings back memories! 😊❤️

Gotta love the raw vocals from Krysta in this version. I like this particular rendition of this song better than the season 2 rendition with Colby doing the lead vocals.
