I make available space and download the zip which is 4.31GB. It took up additional 13GB of disk space after unzip. When I run Start.bat, I get error: failed to initialize whpx: No space left on device. The solution is to go to Control Panel, Programs and Features, "Turn Windows features on or off" and check "Windows Hypervisor Platform" and restart. After restart, run Start.bat again and the emulator starts. Btw, I am using Windows 11 Pro.

China initial release is Q4 after September, around October and Global is post-MWC 2025, Q1-Q2, around March-April.

1,500 apps today, with 4,000 being in the porting process for 5,000 apps by end of Q4. Global launch and post-launch Global apps begin in 2025 and beyond.

No company is allowed to push pop up ads and launch ads when user tap on their app. Ads on third party apps are strictly confined to custom banners within in-app canvas layout and under it's own strict ad platform called Petal Ads. Games with their game engine is the same thing and their own ad platforms like Unity etc., only within their game menus and within their game environment. Unsigned HAP apps cannot run point blank period (same with OpenHarmony) and any signed apps outside of AppGallery cannot be executed on your Huawei device without a tinkering developer tool. OpenHarmony environment will take care of that capability of an free and open source application development on HarmonyOS Next version with it's new custom kernel as well as layout in terms of desktop systems, including POSIX/ABI Linux compatibilities in user mode. I can see HarmonyOS Next kernel being deployed as an addon or main in future Huawei Cloud business of EulerOS commercial and it's open source community edition of openEuler evolution of the server OS from client OS of both commercial HarmonyOS and industry/open source OpenHarmony client OSes over time as more HarmonyOS technologies are already integrated in DSoftBus technology, OpenHarmony distributed file system (HMDFS), EROFS read-only file system and native HAP file. I can see within 5-10 years where more HarmonyOS technologies becomes deeply closer and integrated with Huawei's own server platforms, including it's open source one OpenEuler.
