Rachel Watson longs for a different life.
Her only escape is the perfect couple she watches through the train window every day, happy and in love. Or so it appears. When Rachel learns that the woman she’s been secretly watching has suddenly disappeared, she finds herself as a witness and even a suspect in a thrilling mystery in which she will face bigger revelations than she could ever have anticipated.

Laura Whitmore is an actress, TV presenter and radio broadcaster, known for her roles hosting Love Island, Celebrity Juice, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now, MTV and much more, as well as her own BBC Radio 5 Live series, The Laura Whitmore Show. She made her West End debut in 2:22 A Ghost Story, and currently hosts BBC Podcast, Murder They Wrote alongside Iain Stirling. She is also the Presenter and Associate Producer of her hugely successful ITV documentary series Laura Whitmore Investigates.

I saw the original production with the original cast and I have to say, this looks awful. So glad my friend and I didn't get tickets. would of been such a waste of money
We finally know what inspired Key Mellor to write A Passionate Woman. It was her own affair for four years with a Chilean refugee who arrived from Chile to live in Leeds in 1974 after the military coup of Pinochet. Poor mother, always Kay said that was her mother's affair.
