I got the battery from Aliexpress , and they were relatively cheep.

It’s the original iPhone 7 screen , i only removed the white screen protector

I used standard SE2 screen , and i was referring to the looks similarities of the frame with the newer models

The best place is official Dji Store / distributor. The places where i buy tech have no guarantees or even if the things will work , so its a gamble and i cannot recommend it.

If you have the original broken screen try yo copy the SN over the new screen and try to pair it again

Oh sweet, glad to know its not the only me with the old tech. But interestingly i never thought about getting ubuntu on the Mini , might try that as well. Still in my opinion the 2012 Mini worth every cent .

Well Apple considers the screen and the flex on top as one part. So splitting them will be an issue now and prevent pairing. Workaround this is to copy the SN from the broken screen to the new one . If you keep the old screen and have access to a programming tool you can possibly pair the screen

@@BalkansWay I don’t have broken display but replacing proximity sensor could solve this issue as well isn’t it ?

@@alsy342 you need the original sensor from the new screen . I’m assuming you replaced it with the old one to keep face id ?

Well so far i am swapping cables every 2-3 months due to the issue. It might be due to something drawing more than usual power for tiny amount of time like a jumping spark (maybe) . Try pluging the lightning cable first and then plug the charger in the socket

Well officially Apple no longer supports the model . However with Open Core i can update the Mac to whatever MacOS i choose even the latest and make it “supported”

Well you know if they don’t force us to buy new ones , they wont get money. Anyway the Mac is Dual Core i5 , 16 gigs of RAM and 512 Gb SSD - not a gaming or performance rig but sure usable today for basic things . Believe it or not the Mac was cheaper than the new SSD i got for it but the total cost was around 120 USD .

You can bypass win11 hardware requirements. Search UA-cam and you will find the procedure

@nougan_gamer I'm not opposed to phones being bigger, it's more that they're all the exact same thing over and over again and they expect you to pay $1500 for the phone you already have with just a little more memory or a slightly better camera. They used to have a personality. There used to be a "wow, what is that?" factor.

Is you are certain that you cleaned the speaker and the sound is still low/muffed , the next step is to replace it with new one . Same goes for the bottom speaker

Usually they swap the screen and keep the original speaker that was on the phone so you can keep face id . Now with iOS 18 and up this is bit different. I heard that after iOS 18.1 this will no longer be an issue , but haven’t had the chance to test it .

@@BalkansWay i got the phone with face id disabled. so im assuming when i got my screen repaired , i didnt have an original speaker to begin with . i know they put an aftermaket screen on but seeing its all suppose to be paired together they must all be seperate Aftermarke parts? so in other words unless apple makes a fix which i oubt ill just have to buy a whole new phone thats completely orignal? or is there a way i can use a recycled iphone to fix it all

@@2ToneTony187 oh now i get it , well if face is is disabled there is high chance you need original display with the original ear speaker flex . You can get pulled out parts from another phone like i did if you can find them on reasonable price . I don’t think you can fix the problem with non original parts . If your phone is 11-12-13 series even parts from locked phone will do the trick - for now at least

Update installed the original proximity sensor however it now comes up non original screen :( damn that’s a shame

You will need the original speaker flex , unless you find another way you cant calibrate the screen

Well it was indeed good deal for me at the end , but initially it was blind purchase

@@The-Shameless the screen is from iCloud locked 12 mini , but as you can see it works.For the newer models as you already know this will end up with part lock screen sadly. The board you ordered is unlocked right ?

@@BalkansWaycorrect! I’m so excited to receive it and finally use this phone it’s so amazing in the hand as I can use 1 hand to type. I will use it over my 13 pm because it fits in pocket better and minimizes distractions because it’s so small. I’m thinking in iOS 18.1 this could change for these older phones so I made sure the Chinese seller would download 18.0

I did another video with the drone , but in short it was the batteries. They were completely gone and needed new to get it back flying

You should be able to swap the front facing camera module and get it to work but only with original

@@welovenaturetv7381 like i showed in the video , you need the original ear speaker flex that was on the screen to complete the pairing. Otherwise you will keep getting this error until Apple change this
