The only one he didn't beat was Gasly when he was starting off who mentored him. Lawson on raceday wasn't in Yuki's league, Yuki carrying RB with 30 (actual pts not hypothetical but real..). The mistake Yuki made was reacting to queue jumper Ricciardo he should of stayed cool when Horner tried to backstabbed him. Yuki has been ultra-consistent and that's exactly what they need in the 2nd Red-Bull car. The points Lawson got were when Yuki's car and race strategy was nerfed for Lawson's benefit. The moment they would have gone head to head, Yuki's engine was pulled out for a 20 place grid penalty.

There's been barely a yelp out of Yuki all year, the hot-head label was wearing thin 2yrs ago. Being a Honda driver is really the only excuse Red-Bull can go with.

I think you convinced me by the logic. However, if everything has the be logical, I think all fans are also entitled to reevaluate all other members in the team “TOP” to bottom and question if they deserve their positions in the team. @ 1. If every driver should be accountable to every race, why shouldn't the managers be accountable to the season or their behavior? So Horner should be fully examined for his behaviors and the failure of the season. If we want to be so brutally honest, Horner should have fired Preez at the 1st place even though I like him. It is Horner’s incompetence that leads to the problem today. 2. If the goal is to have to best and least emotional drivers ever, who should care about Versteppan or anyone. Let's replace all with computers that will out compute anyone soon?!? In a way, it will be interesting to have a series to prove how incompatible humans are. 100 pounds of computer, advance sensors, and sending other data to remote computers can do much more than any human. Why should we care about F1 which is human-driven.

I fully agree with this video, which I didn't know before I watched this video. 🤔 Max and Yuki feels like a bit too much hot-headedness for one team. I don't know why, but Liam also comes across like a person who wouldn't let the pressure of driving next to Max get to his head too easily, but ofc we will still have to wait and see... Anyhoo, I stumbled across this channel a few days ago. Although I haven't agreed with every opinion, I really enjoy that you do not mince words and give an unvarnished yet well researched opinion. Which might include occasional "not-so-monetizable" language, but I also enjoy that... This feels more like how actual humans talk.😅 Pls do continue the good work👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Great video. We love Yuki and he is fast we all know that. Yuki crashed twice in Mexico after both haas drivers set their times but before Liam on a flyer could set his. COTA liam was faster in Q1 than Yuki's Q1 and Q2 times. Goes from P19 to P9. other times he was under a tenth of a second to Yuki in Quali except Las Vegas. All tracks Liam has never driven. Except Qatar (in F1) and Abu Dhabi in F2 without putting his car in the wall. Yuki 2m in damage this year. 7.9m over his 4 seasons. Almost ramming Daniel near the beginning of 2024 season. in 2023 Yuki was almost replaced by Lawson until Honda stepped in to keep his seat allegedly. In the 2024 Formula 1 season, Yuki Tsunoda lost the most places of any driver, finishing 1.7 places lower than he qualified on average. I would also say Yuki and Max would be spicy to watch.

I agree with you mostly. But after leaving Ferrari, I don’t think Alonso factored into most team’s plans. RB did not actively pursue him. AM was an improvement over Alpine. The other part of his career is bad luck. He was not at the right place at the right time. You can’t predict RB dominance in 2008. Mercedes wouldn’t want him in 2014 with LH around. It was hard to predict Mercedes success during the Vettel years when Ferrari was outperforming them. There are more factors at play than just dumb moves.

    • @BakesBread001

Also, regarding the Ferrari move … they were pursuing him throughout the 2008 Renault stay. Ferrari and Santander wanted him for 2010. Which driver in their right mind would take RB when Ferrari just won constructors’ in 2008? Hindsight is 20/20.

On the other hand Jos trained him in that too, Jos sabotaged random parts of Max's kart during race weekends so he could try to find out what was not performing optimal by feeling the kart while racing it.

While it is true that his "parenthood" direction produced results with max doesnt negate the fact that beating up your child is not an acceptable way to treat your child, nor does it should make you respected for producing results. 90/100 people treated like that end up in a "Overdose" statistic, they never get happy and their life is pure pain. #5 spacial awareness. Max his field of view is simply larger than most others. A perfect example was the double waved yellow in Qatar, Max noticed, Lando didn't. Lando was 100% concentrating on catching Max, Max was 100% concentrating on defending against Lando + awareness of his surroundings. Lando fails in the same way as he did in when he did the extra "installation lap", missing the fact that a light was not off. Josh would do anything in his power to provide the best equipment possible. He would sort out the championships Max would race in. The gasstation incident was happening due to Max not keeping his end of the bargain. He learned there wrong decisions may have horrific consequences. You should watch all four championship interviews the same frases and emotions return time and time again. The two Car Next interviews with host DC are worth watching definitely. Verstappen's safetycar restarts are so simple but work. What he likes to do is slow down, once the safetycar is in, so the field bunches up. He times it so that as soon as p2 and p3 are close he goes. This way the field is bunched up and P2 needs to pay attention to defending from P3 instead of attacking P1. Did you know that Max called Michael Schumacher uncle Michael and that the Verstappen family went on holiday together with the Schumacher family. And that is the reason why I sometimes say that Jos wants to see his son in red, just like uncle Michael. ua-cam.com/video/kIods5YK24U/v-deo.html

@@machined_nutIt is also one of the reasons why Max's driving style and mentality is so similar to Michael's... He could learn from the man himself... and from Michael's former teammate... Jos!! Jos had learned from Michael immensely, though it was too late for his own career. He also learned from his own mistakes, on and off track. Jos was able to build Max up from scratch, so Max could benefit from the wealth of knowledge that Jos had accumulated from his own experiences and Michael's. This is why Max has been regarded from the moment he came into F1, as an old soul, as an old head on young shoulders. Both at Toro Rosso and later at Red Bull, the crew were astonished by his knowledge of the mechanical inner and outer workings of an F1 car. They were also pleasantly surprised at how Max could succinctly convey what he felt in the car and what he needed to go faster. At 17, he already had the combined knowledge and experience of two former F1 drivers, one... his father, the other... a 7 time World Champion! He learned how to find racing lines in the wet, because he learned from both, Micheal was known as the "Regenmeister" and Jos was quite the rain master himself. (Go and have a look at the Malaysian GP from, I believe it was 2001, where Jos [in an Arrows] was able to keep Schumi [in his Championship winning Ferrari] behind him in wet conditions for an extended part of the race! Only when the rain stopped and the track started to dry out, did Michael manage to go past his former teammate.)

Actually, about Jos. He actually calmed Max in Brazil 2024 after qualifying. I am pretty sure not many could have done that after he had that awful qualifying and had to start from P17. So it's overly pushed down our throats on how awful a father Jos Verstappen was. Honestly if he was an awful father, I'm pretty sure Max wouldn't be so alright with him.

#1 reason asymmetric braking! Banned after summer break 2024. That's why he struggled afterward.

Lol. Max would need to end every remaining race 8th or lower for anyone else to have a chance. The title fight ended in Brazil, and unless Max or RBR f**k up in a way never seen before, this title is Maxs

@@Lanse1984 it won't matter. I was thinking the same thing. Even if Oscar aims to crash into him, lando will find a way to bottle it. Also, Oscar isn't that consistent in quali. Last year, lando crashed out in Vegas all on his own. Max has already sealed his 4th title. Hopefully the wcc stays exciting between McLaren and Ferrari
