Partly because he's closeted and partly because he is overwhelmed by his passion for Guerin who is indeed a hot mess, Alex insists they step back and get to know each other better. They date other people who quickly figure out they cant compete with the love between Alex and Guerin. They have adventures and discoveries and work together protecting each other from danger and healing each other's traumas. Their chemistry is off the charts. Finally, one night they're at a bar talking about work and Alex asks Guerin what his next mission is. I'll let the actors describe Guerin's answer. Tyler: they were kind of talking about work and it turned into a really romantic, sweet kiss from my cowboy. Vlamis: Yeah, the kiss scene was amazing, Dude. Two people not moving at all, fully connected. It was so good, Dude. Tyler: yeah, I agree. Anyway, after that Alex and Guerin were all in with a beautiful romance. They moved in together, Alex proposed, and they got married. Alex took Guerin's name. Oh, and Maria stands up as Alex's best man/woman/person at the wedding. All is well in that 3- way frienship. The End.
