Mindfulness of the Body and Standing Meditation (45 minutes)
This is a more concise explanation of the rationale and practice of internal Chinese martial arts practice of zhan zhuang, also known as standing meditation. This video removes the introductory explanation and immediately begins the body scanning meditation - it is recommended that after watching the extended video, this video be used for a period to train the body scan.
After the explanation of the basic body scan for standing meditation is explained, an explanation of a basic neigong practice is given which guides the practitioner towards development of the 6 harmonies. The neigong can be practice as either Li Tailiang's Lifting/Pressing exercise or Chen Zhaosen's Opening/Closing Exercise.

This is a more compact version of the Mindfulness of the Body and Standing Meditation video. The introductory explanation has been dropped and the narration moves through the points to scan at a faster rate. This video is suitable to be used as an audio only guide to the body scan - at 20 minutes, it is roughly the right length for a short zhan zhuang session. After the end of the video, you ca...

Using xinyi piquan and zuanquan for the Aunkai agete movement

The Aunkai folks have been trying to bring out different ways to power an arm lifting movement that they refer to as "agete". They have explicitly been trying to discuss generating the movement without using back/yang power. I thought I would contribute a video where I show 3 different ways to power the movement, based loosely on Dai Xinyi's 2 more basic elements: piquan and zuanquan. Note that...

An overview of how training in the XinyiDao basics gives a deep understanding of Xinyi, Xingyi and Taijiquan.
This is excellent, thank you so much. I will certainly be sharing this with our students 🙏
I'm glad you find it useful! This particular video is a pretty detailed with a bunch of explanation. After going through it and learning how the general practice works, the shorter video that just guides listeners through the parts of the body in the proper order may be handy: ua-cam.com/video/SuB1VcqOgTc/v-deo.html
This is very informative and useful
