Also glad you knew to *not* use the in-game music, despite doing the recording for this much earlier - I had since added a warning on the main menu that tells content creators that the music is copyrighted / can result in claims, so you dodged a bullet there for sure. The game is really not that hard, you pick a good starting point, focus on evolving spreading and vaccine immunity, absolutely no symptoms until you have world domination, then you evolve all symptoms

Most of the lore text is somewhat ambiguous, as we tried to leave the narrative open to interpretation regarding what happened, is happening, and will happen. However, there are enough clues in all the lore entries, flavor texts, and dialogues to piece together a cohesive understanding of the true lore. You can play the basic version of the fishing minigame by talking to the Fisher at the lower bridge in Adventurers' Town. You can also find fishing spots in dungeons for more diverse and rewarding fishing, but this is RNG-based. Hope you eventually get the true ending! ;)

As far as I know, rougelites have the out of game elements with upgrades or unlockable items that affect your future runs. Rougelikes offer everything in the game from the start (see Fatal Labyrinth (1990)) Also do more of these pls
