    What wavelengths of red and infrared lasers are most effective for growing hair on the head? And what should be the power of these lasers? What happens to the damage to the head if these forces are exceeded?

  • @bahram6133

    infrared is not more energetic than visible light... the lower the wavelenght, the higher the energy.

    • @stephenrodgers1651
      @stephenrodgers1651 21 день тому

      You're right: E = hc/λ . Higher the wavelength (λ) then, due to proportionality, the higher the photon energy. Infrared photons have a higher wavelength then UV light.

    At 2:59 you state that Infrared radiation is more energetic than light in the visible spectrum, whereas in my understanding, the reverse is actually the case just as UV radiation is more energetic than visible radiation which is why UV radiation can cause skin and internal damage because of the higher frequencies. It seems to me that it might be better to say that the body is more "susceptible" to IR radiation due to the matching of IR radiation with the chemical processes in the body. Please let me know if you agree or not.

      I’m not a doctor nor do I have expert knowledge in RLT, however; anything that boosts the mitochondria is good for those with cancer I would think because that condition is caused when the mitochondria is heavily damaged. This is my logical conclusion and as stated, I have no special knowledge on this so it’s just a thought.

      @@alexc7857 Thank you for your comment. Rather than merely restate what has already been stated, it would have been more to the point to provide links to information that scientifically state depths of penetration of near and far infrared radiation. The many papers and charts available on the Net all clearly indicate that penetration depths are in the order of a few millimeters.I would appreciate that you provide links which state otherwise. I hope you will be able to help and thank you.

      They say 630nm to about 1300nm helps but laser light at those wavelengths help hair growth! Look at laser combs/headbands. I have been researching red LED and red laser for wrinkle/antiaging as well as for hair growth in spots I have gradually lost hair (forehead hairline and temples). There is study evidence that says it works for the hair growth, where follicles have been miniaturized but not yet completely gone), so it will not grow hair where there was none. I would not use laser on my face but I do use red and blue LED (blue for acne and pores reduction) on my face. I am about to purchase a laser comb for my hair - so we'll see if it works in my particular case. Red LEDs have also been combined with red laser light (btw laser therapy is called low light laser therapy or LLLT) on the hair growth laser combs to help give it a double shot for hair growth. Antiaging products have come a long way, I have found that glycolic acid peels and retinol products marketed for acne do very well to gradually get rid of wrinkles. I have been doing the peels once a month for years, it works- just added a form of retinol and now that seems to help also. It just dries out the skin a bit so moisture needs to be infused back into the skin which is what the red LEDs also help to do!

    • @mamaboocee
      @mamaboocee 4 роки тому

      @Essel Ellis interesting! Do you mean red LED or the laser caps. I use both, LED and laser. The laser, of course only comes in red for hair growth and i dont know if they come in other colors or what those benefits would be. But the LED does come in different colors with different benefits. Blue is good for stunting bacterial growth and scalp or skin fungus, red is good for collagen production and hair growth. I do have an LED device for scalp and face. Both the LED and Laser devices seem to work fine for me. Assuming you are talking about the laser caps, in what way are the caps better? I know they take less time, and allow hands-free use, but are the caps more effective than the 9 laser comb? I opted for the cheapest but highest rated comb, figuring a laser is a laser - i will just spend more time using it. I think 500 bucks or more for the cap is way too expensive, especially for a first purchase to see if it even works (and it does for me) but even if you know it works - would it be more effective in the long run? Or just more convenient and time-saving. And can you use it more during each day for better results (the directions say use it for only a limited amount of time for 3 days a week and no more)? Will going over that amount be better or worse? Since covid-19, I have a great deal of time on my hands and using my comb while watching TV is easy. And affords me the time to just sit and think, which we sometimes need to do. I would love to hear your experience with the cap and if adding more time and more frequency of use will make it more or less effective, damaging or beneficial. Thanks for the comment! 😁
