My concern , looking at our modern world, is that this world became neo- pagan again and that we should distance ourselves from deceitful anti-christian activities , its false idols or vain entertaiments ( satanicly inspired movies, books, celebrities, concerts, ideas , fashions , magic world oversexualization of woman and children etc). Its time to take teachings of our Saviour- Jesus Christ and His First Holy Apostles ( Peter and Paul) more seriosly in order not to fall into the sins of cities of Sodoma and Gomorrah.

According to CHRISTIAN CALENDAR- we live in 2024 year after CHRIST. ( we should not follow old pagan ways because Jesus Christ redeemed us by His Cross, Blood and Ressurection, by our Christian Babtism from PREMORTAL SINS of our pagan ancestors. (ANCIENT PEOPLE were SINFUL and fallen- we should NOT follow them nor their ways. Remember LOTS wife?- who looked back at sinful city of Sodoma and Gomorah? What happened to her? What happened to these sinful cities? )

​@@marciecorda5209 Our identity is Assyrian. Our homeland is Assyria (Mesopotamia, modern-day Iraq, Syria, southeastern Turkey and the Urmia region). Assyria (Mesopotamia) is the source of human culture and civilization and we are proud of the achievements of our ancestors. Even God calls the Assyrians the work of his hands. @@gl4505 Why you call what I wrote nonsence? Some people from this group claim that You are Christian now, and I only wrote Christian things. I also know the History of ANCIENT WORLD which was PAGAN and fallen and God was not happy with that. He was sending His many Prophets to people to change their ways.( NOAHS FLOOD, NINIVA, SODOMAH and GOMORAH and many more.)- well known historical facts.

​@@marciecorda5209 Assyrians celebrate the historical cultural achievements and traditions of their ancestors, just as every people celebrates their national traditions. This is nothing reprehensible. If they had paid attention to the content of their comments, they would have seen them attacking and insulting people. The Assyrians received the Christian faith directly from the Lord Jesus Christ through the Assyrian King Abgar V, King of Urheu. The Assyrians need no instruction from them in this regard.
