Переглядів 12 тис.4 роки тому
Back in December 2019, I got a cat named Jack. He liked to be outside, so I bought and built a PawHut Catio for him so he can go out and get some outside experiences during the day. He liked it so much, I decided to expand it by buying another PawHut Catio to use to expand it.

It was conceived and planned in 1981, with the passage of a student referendum authorizing an assessment of $23 per student per quarter as of winter 1987. It opened January 8, 1987, with UCI men’s basketball vs. Utah State. I was the first Chairperson of the Bren Events Center Board (when it was known as the Campus Events Center Board) during the early phases of development (1982-1984). I took ...

@@nolanpilon789 ok, got it Thanks bro
This was so beautiful to listen this interview with my grandmother Marne- she was quite an amazing lady!
Thank you for posting this. I used her book for my master thesis - was surprised to see this!
I used to live five houses down from this park it was an absolute blast to play in it I used to crawl down in the cold burning furnace of the train I also remember that centrifuge slowly moving in the background it was dangerous and me and my brother would crawl on the outside and ride on it they had tanks airplanes heavy guns it was just probably the best park I've ever been to to this day they don't make them like that anymore it was very dangerous but I would say but did you die and of course I didn't but definitely a lot of room for injuries I'm really sad that it was demolished it was very iconic. I was 7 years old I was 89'
Are you adding the other large patio that you have to the new one, so jack will still have plenty of room..
I have the larger Catio at my home. This one is at my girlfriends for times that Jack hangs out there. He is loving it. Originally, it was so we could put his litter box outside but he also likes to go out there and go to the top level to see the birds.
@@robpeirson8414 thank you Rob for getting back to me, I've enjoyed watching the videos that you've made and the walkways around your back garden fence, I would like to see more videos of the cats in their catios and walkways in the new year..

Back in the days when the characters sometimes went on the rides, lol
Notice how some of the characters got on the tea cup ride.
Wow, never heard him sing before
Wow. Where ya bin?
I was there in 1964, when I was 5!
I remember this!
Love this!
Wow! I sort of remember making this. Fun times
Hi I think I was on the Northern Star with your family in 1969 ...
I remember that park from when we lived at nearby George AFB. The centrifuge slowly moving in the background behind the little girl was dangerous and amazing. You got in it and a grownup spun it around from underneath and you tried not to get thrown out.
Great footage. My family lived in on the nearby Air Base from '64 to '69, and that park was our favorite place. The kids in the beginning would have been about the age my sister and I would have been back then. I've put up a couple videos of the park myself, from 1991 when the park was still open and in 1996 when a crew was cutting up the playground structures with torches.
Sad to see it gone. Thanks for the comments.
In case you haven't seen my videos, here is one from 1991 when the park was still open. ua-cam.com/video/_e3B0TDWPeY/v-deo.html This second video is from 1996, when I happened to be there when crews were torching some of the custom climbing pieces for demolition. ua-cam.com/video/3gfDAn7_Qe8/v-deo.html This third link is to someone's photo gallery with pictures from 1961 when the park opened. imgur.com/gallery/EiTe8 I'm not on facebook, but there is a group for the park, with over 500 members. facebook.com/groups/112417782121709/
