    Could you give us the specifics on the size of the cord you are using and the size and gauge of the tubing please? Is it heavy walled tubing?? Love the tutorial but need the specs.

    • @amuckdesign
      @amuckdesign 6 днів тому

      @@maurschmidtz the cords I used in this video were an 8mm and a 5.5mm diameter. You would then need tubing whose inside diameter was close to this. Heavy or thin walled tubing is purely your choice as to what weight you’d like your tips to be.

    Thanks! I’ve been accumulating gear for metal smithing. It started with me just watching videos of guys melting cans and pouring bars. Now, a couple days ago, I just dropped around $1k on a high end roller mill. It’s always a conundrum to know if I should spend on the high priced items and be assured I’m getting quality or buying the cheap Chinese knockoff that often can accomplish the job (provided you can assemble it with no instructions) but can also be totally dysfunctional garbage. Having experienced smiths share tool recommendations can be very helpful, provided they aren’t paid promotions for Chinese trash.
