I was growing a mixture of lettuces and when my Father- in-law came to visit he wanted to see my garden Cucumbers, broccoli, tomatoes, carrots, squash, eggplant, beans all looking great but when I took him to see my lettuce it had vanished without a trace! I swear it was right here…. After I had cameras installed I found the culprit…. A family of skunks. Little cuties who romp and play around at night. My dogs had died and my health failing I couldn’t tend to another so my yard became their safe haven. You have a garden that any animal would love to call home and probably does. I always planted extra plants for any in my garden. Toss out scraps too for them to eat! We are here to protect and to keep them happy and healthy as we were given Dominion over them.
