I Love Amsterdam by Jim Warren. I wrote the song, sing it, and produced the video (all my videos). Actor Tony Geary, who has duel citizenship (America and Netherlands), sang back up and appears in this music video.
I've visited Amsterdam for all but a couple years for the past twenty - my favorite city of all. This video is my tribute, my love letter, to the city. I hope it inspires everyone who views it to visit the Dutch city, and for locals, I hope it reminds them of how lucky they are to live in such a great place.

In the centre of Amsterdam you'll find Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal - a busy street with a historical past. Here's a look down on an average day - the shooting location (the northeast corner of the pool at the W Hotel) suggested by longtime Amsterdam resident Anthony Geary.

There are few views in Amsterdam better than high atop the W hotel - and at the bar, no less. (Their morning offering of fresh squeezed, on-the-spot, orange juice cant be beat (indoor and outdoor seating).

Ferries to and from Amsterdam Centraal Station cross the River IJ - carrying pedestrians, cyclists and mopeds and such - for free - to Amsterdam Noord. Take a look and you'll see plenty of other action in the water, too.

Westerkerk - a favorite landmark in Amsterdam!

You've seen it! If you've been to Amsterdam, there it is! Sitting high above the canals, Westerkerk is a beautiful sight to behold. The church was built in the early 1600's - the highest church tower in Amsterdam. Feel free to climb the stairs to the top!

When I think of Amsterdam, I think of Anne Frank.
It was good to see him finally smile at the end. He always seems so unhappy and alone. Loved Luke, wish he would give us another short stint of him and Tracey, he and his Laura days are over but he and Jane Elliot could give us a quick little send off. ♥️♥️

There is a really fun video of all the original members of Van Halen goofing around thr streets of Amsterdam, in 1978!!! And it looks pretty much the same almost 50 years later. The Van Halen brothers ..that would be Edward and Alex for those that live under a rock, were born in Amsterdam and came to America as very young children who only spoke dutch. Im assuming Tony speaks dutch now?? Anyway... beautiful quiet film ..and Tony continues to be the enigma he always has been...thats what is so compelling...cheers!

I am Genie's age but never saw GH. It was suggested to me because I like 70's music. I loved the tour of Amseterdam and would also love to visit my ancestral country of France. I don't fly so it will never happen. I envy Mr. Geary his spirit. I live vicariously through him. Hope to see more tours in the future and thanks for inviting us along. Bon Nuit!

Yes, I agree. He gives off a sense of sadness and "world-weariness" as he walks through the city. I believe his life partner passed away some years ago and wonder if he has found a new human companion. I know from personal experience that retirement is not necessarily kind to everyone.
I didn’t know that, the only person I’ve ever heard him mentioned were Elizabeth Taylor.
@@missboss8759 Hello! There was a long-running Hollywood rumor that his companion was Ron Glass (from Barney Miller), who was admittedly gay. They worked together in an episode of "The Streets of San Francisco." Tony is obsessively private about his personal life and never spoke to the speculation. Neither did Mr. Glass, who passed away a few years ago. Opinion varies on whether the rumor was true or not.

I loved Anthony Geary as Luke for a good part of my life. I love the tour and this boat is beautiful. I did not find this to be the Anthony of yesterday but then as we age, we change in little ways. I would have loved to see his smile but the wink at the end was endearing. He has earned a life that brings him happiness. Thanks for the many years that you brought Luke into our homes. Live well...

No he doesn't and that makes me sad. And most of the scenes have people walking together, but he's alone. I hope he's made some friends there.

This was a lovely short film. I have always loved tony and watch everything he was in beyond GH. In this film u saw Anthony Geary till that last scene when he wink at the camera I saw Luke just for a few secs. 😉
Oh boy so did I see Luke for a second with a twinkle in his eye and that beautiful smile. So glad TG has found his happiness in Amsterdam. But still miss him on GH, those were beautiful days of time gone by

Anthony Geary is truly an underrated actor. Directors passed him off as a soap actor, which is truly dishonest
Beautiful city but people in this country are cold and distant, the weather sucks and the food tastes like nothing...
