The whole game needs a remake. Reinterpretation (rearrangement) would work better then.

That track is so touching. It hits hard after that ending.

Tried to be authentic as much as possible.

Would say more than SNES, but it's known that SNES had better sound capabilities anyway.

This game needed some more fleshing out to the story. The concept and characters were so good.

Take care while doing so. The notes in the source code files of the game (midi) are using different banks than usual. Take that into your consideration, or: 1) Be careful while choosing your soundfonts/VSTs, as not all of them are compatible. 2) Edit the source files first 3) Make your own music notes versions. For this game, I am using the first method mostly with minor edits from number 2.

@@remasteredvgm2333 Oh some of those free vst plugins & one paid orchestral vst plugins are compatible in the free Kontakt 7 Player along with Komplete Start. Those vst plugins are Nucleus Lite Edition, BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover, The Free Orchestra 1, The Free Orchestra 2, Komplete Start, Shreddage Stratius 3 & Shreddage Precision 3. The DAW i'm using is Mixcraft 10.5 Pro Studio. As for the tunes themselves. I'll carefully listen to them & remix them by ear, Thanks for best wishes.

Good hint. The organ was tricky here, the notes used made me use a plain instrument. At the end I applied a simple Pipe Organ from Airfont 380. But I would like to try your option in future projects.

Maybe because the soundtrack of Ys VI seems to be made using software synthesizers with digitally recorded music instruments
