    seems like a lot of shots to figure out how to play. I don't have a whole game to waste in a tournament . warmup on fresh are misleading a lot of times. it doesn't tell you with the people who are on the pair what's gonna happen. I stay far right as possible until I see what's happening . usually more miss room early so I adjust with speed until I find (or figure out ) the miss area. to me finding the HEADPIN first because I know I'm IN the miss area that way. Hopefully in 2-3 frames I'll be close.

      This video is intended for league bowlers that bowl on their same house shot week-after-week and want to improve their average. Unfortunately, there’s no “one size fits all” when it comes to bowling adjustments, but also I wanted bowlers to be able to see what adjustments I make after warmup is complete and during their normal league games

    thats not quite a reason why you use Switch Grip. You can make different sized thumbs with all systems 😂😂😂

    • @FloppyPENGuinn
      @FloppyPENGuinn 19 днів тому

      I spent several years on staff with Turbo, therefore I use the SwitchGrip and prefer it personally over the others. The point in the video was simply to say the reason to use any of the systems is the advantage of having multiple sizes 🙂

    Great bowling! I'm basically just getting back into bowling after years away from the sport. Really enjoying the learning process and watching videos like this. Joining a league this fall. Can't wait to see how my game improves as I implement what I've learned after watching content like yours.

    Great to see you and your crew in action Dan! When I played Nationals in May, it was my 10th event. I had so many fit issues I could not get my thumb to clear consistently. I even had the thumb holes opened in my key spheres. It felt great in the Storm booth. When I went out to the lanes, my thumb swelled up again. I have only had these issues when I changed pitches a while back. It was the lack of humidity in Vegas that did me in. Lucky for me, next year's event takes place in the Swamp. I will not have these kinds of issues. And congrats on the great bowling.

      Thank you! Last year, I had something similar happen. In D&S I used my biggest thumb and still it rubbed me raw because it was too tight. I had never bowled in Reno before, and now I know to bring a really large thumb with me!

    In the one handed example, does holding the ball at that angle help relax the armswing? I’ve been holding the ball with my hand twisted out thinking my fingers would be on the inside of the ball during the swing. Why is that the wrong way to do it?

    • @FloppyPENGuinn
      @FloppyPENGuinn Місяць тому

      The reason I hold the ball this way is to maintain it during my swing, so I can be under the equator of the ball at release. Relaxing the arm swing is mostly a matter of grip pressure and finding what is comfortable

    • @Gbuck426
      @Gbuck426 Місяць тому

      @@FloppyPENGuinn Thanks! That is my main issue, not being under the equator. Will try this in my next practice.

    Can't wait to try this out. I have gotten pretty good with using the 3 point targeting and knowing where to place it, but I did not realize how important my right foot was. I know that it's (right foot) is important in determining angles by controlling hips, but I never knew it could also help dictate how your swing and follow through would go.

When i do it hits the 3 pin but then again maybe im nit understanding becsuse with same ball i can cross and strike. So 3 pin or brooklyn. Help pin is besode my ring ringer

      The angle you’re using is important. If you have low rotation and low tilt, straighter is going to be greater. You don’t have to have a huge hook to do well, it’s smart to play the a little straighter
