SIL literally dragging terrified ML back into the room is so funny. Her being deposited outside the door while wrapped up in a blanket soon after is also funny. I get the feeling the cast was having a blast making this, especially in the scenes when they are trying to trick the FL with a ghost dream. The husband remembering that he’s being a ghost right now gets me too. ML isn’t a good guy in the first life, but I think one part is a misunderstanding. The part where he rejects the FL for Jinfei in the first life, I think it’s him attempting to protect her from a fairly powerful and terrifying Jinfei without knowing what already happened. ML genuinely terrified of FL near the end.
