Chili Bowl not on my radar. After going to USAC Midget Week,I would go definitely back to do that again. It was so good.

Interesting thoughts. Logan Seavey has been racing midgets in New Zealand so he will be race tuned and this will help him defend his title. Buddy Kofoid has also been racing Midgets in New Zealand and actually won the New Zealand midget car championship with Logan Seavey placing third. Buddy Kofoid is probably going to be the favorite going into the Chilli Bowl based on spending 3 weeks in a midget in New Zealand to get back into the grove of being at the wheel of a midget. Both Kofoid and Seavey had top equipment in New Zealand running for local car owners with Kofoid running a Bullet by Spike Chassis and Toyota engine and Seavey running a locally built CP3x chassis and a Toyota engine. Kyle Larson hasn't been the same since he changed chassis's from the New Zealand built King Chassis (won his two Chilli Bowl titles in a King) to an old Eagle Chassis with some updates. The older chassis isn't up to it and even Tyler Courtney has struggled with that chassis's since joining Larson as a teammate. Michael Pickens is the dark horse contender more so in a KKM car, probably the best equipment he has had at the Chilli Bowl.

He hit it right on the nail. I am a senior citizen and I have to pick and choose. My son's are in the same boat because of their families and jobs. I only go to the USAC races. My sons and I only come out for the Outlaw races. The expenses of gas and hotels is probably like the expenses of race teams. Starting another National tour was absolutely insane

Doug is one of those guys that is just about impossible to outwork. His father, Lino, is a bit of a legend too. He only had one arm, yet still operated a tandem axle dump truck to make a living. Doug sold me his kart in '79 when he bought his first race car. I've always had a ton of respect for him, and realized how dedicated he and his wife Cindy are to motorsports. Still have the kart btw.

I think Randall shows a lot of promise. I wonder if his departure from the Renfro #2kS had anything to do with the Knoxville fire. He's right, High Limit is tougher competition. If Randall wants to go on tour, he should convince Ridge & Son to hire him to drive #8 car on WoO tour. He'd be a shoe-in for rookie-of-the-year as he is more talented than Cole Macedo driving #2C.

When Tanner Maholmes Racing leaves home for 4 weeks (28 days/nights) How many nights do they sleep in the toter home? How many nights do they sleep in motel rooms? Toter/Motel 14/14? 28/0? 0/28? 8/20? Do tell.

Is Lakeside still his favorite track? I agree with Tanner. Kyle Busch is a way better driver than Tony Stewart. And he hasn't killed anybody on video tape yet. That counts too.

I have to say I'm impressed with Ricky's resilience to keep competing with the best in the country. I used to race against him a little bit when he started in Wissota late models. It's really too bad the split with Bloomer happened, he was on his way to becoming a top 5 DLM driver. Nothing but respect for him and path he's taking in his career building his own cars. That's a big undertaking. It has to make having success even sweeter.

Max McLaughlin said in an interview with Landon Huffman that a WoO lm season is $250K. I've been hearing the last few years that it's roughly $3500 a race night for a national level super dirt late model. Also been told a few of the top teams are spending around $700K a season.

Guys those tests are most definitely correct on the tires matter of fact back at the dome racing they were 2 or 3 groups selling this stuff and said it's not detectable and another thing why would the owner of world of outlaws racing series want to disqualify the money maker BP or DM these guys make people show up and spend money at the races this tire chemicals or tire soaking is a embarrassment to the sport just stop it these guys have pressure on them I know to win but trying to do it with this tire chemical gives the sport a bad look plain and simple
