I LOVE this song
Just a quick one - there’s not double kick on this at all! I have the drum transcriptions but I do get it. The mix is bloody mad! Nothing on Melancholy Hymns has double kick - Jack Wrench done everything single pedal. A lot of the double kick sounding stuff’s a lot simpler than it may sound!
Thats fascinating to know, it fits with the band managing to be heavy despite typically playing in standard tuning most of the time! I have actually just done a rework of this chart (I'm fixing all the drum charts as we speak), so the new video might be more accurate when that goes up - but based on the mix this song probably still has double kicks everywhere!
@@tastelesscharts3466 Daryl played double kick, when Jack took over he played single. I suppose a lot of the songs probably didn’t need double kick.
