    My mother was given the exact same news. in 1970 when I was born. The surgery saved my life. I'll be 54 years old next week. My center hole was the size of a 50 cent piece. I had 2 more that they fixed also.

    This is why women can’t find any good men anymore. Once a cat touches a hot stove, it won’t touch a hot stove again, and it won’t touch a cold stove either for a long while. Btw. The good men have either given up and are happy or they’re in a million friends zones because women find kind fidelity boring. ❤

    This is the gem at the heart of this over emotionalization of everything... the victim mentality has become toxic but we are all of us victims of our circumstances..... and it does behoove us to note from whence we came so that we can better achieve our mission tomorrow.... We all feel exactly how we should considering where we've been.... the biggest strongest guy with a week's worth of facial hair and smelling like a gorilla still has these feelings all of them.... so this is absolutely wonderful to see this surviving through the backlash of the "F peoples feelings".... there is a big difference between someone seeking to understand themselves and their situation, and someone who is unable to see today and tomorrow because they're so trapped in yesterday. We need to understand yesterday so that we can better face tomorrow.... and that all takes place in what we refer to as our feelings. You will nurture and protect the feelings in you and around you. If you are smart. ❤this, best luck miss

    The problem is a shortage of real parents.. that kid wasn't there for 2 years because there were not enough foster homes... he was there because his parent's didn't do what it takes to get the child back in any reasonable amount of time.... when will this idea die... that somehow government can ever replace what a real family should be. the more we tell ourselves that the government can do something just fine, that we as a family would otherwise have to do, the worse the situation keeps getting.

    It's not your fault that you say what was done It's his fault for doing it Don't get confused. People have the thug mentality of it's the "narc" fault when that's never the case! If someone murders someone it's not the person who tells on them's fault it's the person who did the murder Don't forget that.. The fact he never said anything until that moment when he figured he was probably going to get caught.. it says a lot

      In this instance the husband showed his true colors. Think a man would protect you if he cannot protect his own child & is the abuser?? This is gross behavior. Take a good look at yourself & why you said that. I hope you are not & are actively trying not to be a mother, those are monsterous words.

    • @XantinovaX
      @XantinovaX 8 місяців тому

      Let the internet show in its records forever that @Mewcury151 is part of the problem of abusers being allowed to go free. She would protect the abuser and choose him over a perfect and innocent child because she 'loves' him. Now, we will hope that if and until Mewcury151 realizes how horrifying that way of thinking is, she will never have children nor be around them without supervision.

    You did the right thing. On 12/5 my 3 year old baby cousin was battered to death. The man who did it was arrested on the 6th. My 1st cousin, his Mother, was arrested on the 11th bc she admitted to knowing the baby was being abused since June. I never thought it could happen so close to me 😢 Knowing & doing nothing is guilt, imo & until us Mothers ALL stand together on that these awful things will keep happening.

    Great episode, I would just steer away from the “if this was happening before you were married, why did you stay and get married?” That comes off very victim blame-y. I know why you asked but in the future I just wouldn’t!

      @@surfergirl988 same! This is the first episode I’ve seen from them and it was disappointing :( even the way she was asking “because this is probably a question women ask” in a weird tone was very off putting. If the women in your life ask you that, they probably shouldn’t be in your life…

    • @ashcabz4421

      I think it’s a very hard question but being love bombed was the reason and that’s a good thing to talk about to other women can understand and steer clear from that behavior. She was sensitive to word it in a way that was not victim blaming. You make excuses when you experience good love.

    • @bjsiau

      The question was definitely directed at people who might wonder why leaving an abusive relationship is difficult. The person asking the question even said “this isn’t my question but just something people might wonder”. I personally found it helpful because I sometimes have trouble understanding why my friends stay in their relationships because all I see is the bad

    I wish people would take two seconds to look at their own life before they cast blame. None of you people are perfect. Dude made a BIG mistake. He needs to suffer those consequences. But people need to stop making statements on weather or not another human is good or evil. Bad actions dont equate to a shitty human being. And judgemental dickwads can be pretty shitty too.

    I have rumatory tremors which means my whole body shakes all the time. Add that with anxiety especially with public speaking and im basically a Chihuahua behind a podium. I've found that the best thing to do is take a really deep, calming breath before i start speaking and pause at any time for another deep breath if necessary. But the sensations i feel in my body do not determine the outcome of that performance or speech. I actually gave a speech about anxiety in my psychology class once and told the entire class that i was in the middle of an anxiety attack while giving the speech and was able to demonstrate how i could calm myself enough to get through it. They ended up having me do it again to record it and show it to other classes for years to come. Its one of my proudest achievements thinking about how i might still be helping other young adults learn that its okay to have anxiety and that it doesnt have to hold you back from doing what you love. Sorry that was long, i just feel very strongly about anxiety and am always looking for an opportunity to help someone else that has it.
