I have been hunting all my life and do lots of pest control for rabbits, deer, pigeons, and squirrels. Using rifles, shotguns and catapults. You can also find me on Instagram and Facebook @the sussexhunter
Slingshot/ catapult pest control and using Hw100 air rifle. Part 2
In this video we returned to my friends farm where the feral pigeons had been making a real mess and the numbers needed controlling. The last time i was here was a about 6 weeks ago where I managed to shoot 25 pigeons.
This time Callum my oldest son came to give me a hand with his HW100 in .177, we started off in the barn and after a few shots with the catapult all the pigeons left the barn and went outside. So we made a hide and waited for them to come back, but there was only one side of the barn we could safely shoot them off and only a few pigeons landed on that part of the roof, while the rest of the pigeons sat the other end of the roof where we couldn’t shoot.
The pigeons new it was safe that end so we will be back in a few weeks to have another go and the next time we will be-able to shoot the barns next door. Thanks for watching like and subscribe to see more videos.

The slingshot is nice but a good pellet gun would solve the problem quickly and humanely.
I use a hw100 out side the barn but personally I wouldn’t use it inside the barn as I don’t want the pellet or any ricochets going through the roof or side sheets as the barn has asbestos sheeting on it.

Where did you get your Shot Mould from?? ..Would far rather make my own lead Shot instead of using 9.5mm Steel you get far more 'punch' with Lead!
