It baffles me how people struggle to understand that's it's the BAND that chose Matt. If they wanted a Jonny copycat they'd have looked for it. His voice isn't the same and never will, that wasn't the point, but he's doing so amazingly well with the guys I'm so happy they can finally get shows in. And we still get to hear old songs we love, how can people not appreciate it. It takes SO much to pull off these songs written for Johnny's voice and Matt is only getting better.

Why keep comparing Matt McAndrew to Johnny Craig they’re two different people they both are amazing at what they do aka singing. Johnny does different things with his voice just like Matt does different things with his voice. They’re both amazing why can’t everyone that’s saying Matt isn’t good because y’all are use to Johnny isn’t fair Matt is really good just like Johnny is as well. Just some of the older songs are made around and for Johnny and they’re usually on a personal level for Johnny. I don’t know what Matt’s been through or if he has had any addictions or anything on a personal level or his personal life but they’re both still wonderful and both can sing. They just do it differently but it’s still wonderful. Everyone just seems to Hate Changes which is normal maybe y’all should listen to stuff Matt helped write or was something for him on a personal level and you’ll appreciate his voice. Both Matt McAndrew and Johnny Craig me and my 4 and 2 year old girl’s can fall asleep to. Mainly because Matt sounds a lot like my Brother who passed away 5 years ago.

Matt is like a POLISHED version of Jonny.. Can always expect a solid performance from him.

I don’t want this band to stay stuck in the past, I love their newer stuff, but this is one song I would love for the band to re-record and reclaim.
