Six bunkers guard a fairway that climbs to one of the course's most dramatic green complexes. An elevated green is surrounded by deep bunkers and steep runoff slopes that emphasize distance control.

A short par 5 funnels from a wide fairway into a narrow gateway up to the green, which sits perched above a waste bunker waiting to snare errant approaches.

From an elevated tee box, players view a tapered fairway protected by a creek down the left side. A tabletop green opens from the right side and is guarded by greenside bunkers in front and large mounds behind.

Emblematic of the Hoot's risk-reward style, an expansive fairway requires a player to choose a line off the tee, with aggressive drives down the right setting up short approaches to a large green.

Another hole framed by a rock wall, the fifth hole's angled green is protected by deep bunkers with raised lips and a large collection area to the left.

Opening with a large fairway meandering from left to right, the Hoot's first hole features an inviting green and generous chipping are but beware the pond that is lurking to the left.
