If ever a building could be said to have a soul, Halcyon Hall had a great one. There are so many images online taken by thousands of exploring photographers, it was possible to explore most any campus building from the armchair or bed. Every explorer seemed to end up at Halcyon Hall, maybe to say goodbye before leaving. The destruction was inevitable, but painful for so many.

I just saw a video about Tyke and it led me to this.Both are awful stories. I can believe these stories…knowing what we know about elephants now…this makes me sick. I encourage everyone not to support animal circuses. So sad. Im sure it still happens in other parts of the world…..although im sad and disgusted I am glad I know this story….
