One of the most distinguishing features of Otuho traditional dance apparel, is the female skirts made from animal skin, with exceptionally unique design since time immemorial, i.e., before cotton was used for clothing. Of note, Otuho women created their own chemical substance to treat animal skins so produce leather from which these marvelous traditional dance skirts are made!
