1:13 It's interesting that Rachmaninov uses the very same motive from Liszt's Concert Etude La Legerezza and even in the same tonality and register.

Sorry, but to me this interpretation sounds frigid. There is no climax, no tenderness, it sounds like some skillfully sight-reading the music.

It just doesn’t get more beautiful than this. Schumann’s melody adoringly arranged by Liszt and played by a truly great artist. She said surpasses Bolet in my opinion and that’s no small feat. Thank you
