I just saw a whole fume was coming out of exhaust after catalytic converter replacement. i think mechanic only cleansed it, not replaced it. If a new catalytic converter is replaced, does the mechanic have to do fuming a lot of gas through exhaust? please reply me.

This will not help you get rid of the ash in the filter.

I'd not a rinsed it out . Put the solution through jet wash .

The big trucks are easier but I've been cleaning lately a few on 2016 duramax and 2021 Ram and I haven't found a good soap or solution that helps I cut them open then pressure wash them all DOC,DPF,SCR and just a good 2600psi or higher pressure washer and the results are amazing 10 out of 10 so I would be skeptical of using this cleaner fluid and no pressure washer, I've been using just hi pressure water with no solutions and it works, once I'm done I weld everything back up

I bought the motor power Induction cleaner for my EGR. Do I have to have an air intake cleaning device to apply it or can i just spray it through a bottle???

Because I was using it on a German made diesel, I wanted a German made product. A Sprinter's V6 DPF is in a difficult position to access, so the long straw kept my arm from being burned while deploying the foam after the warmup period. After restarting, the induced regeneration took place and apparently all the ash was removed, as the content was approximated at 0 grams at the end of the process. Regeneration was not possible before the application, as the computer indicated a plugged Filter. It seems like one can was sufficient to make things right again.

I'm curious about the foam cleaning technology and if it really is as fast and easy as advertised, this video explained it will give it a shoot soon.

I was impressed with how easy and efficient this cleaner is. I was able to clean my DPF without disassembling it's great product I highly recommend it.

Been having sulfur smell from the tail pipe. Most products are in tank which I am not sure will do anything to help cats. This product is different and that way I gave it a try. It has removed the smell at least for now. I will pick up another can in a month I may do it every oil change. Beat $1500 for new cats.

My check engine light went on after 244,000 miles on my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder. The trouble code indicated the cat wasn't operating correctly. I couldn't get the car smog checked with this condition. I pored this stuff in the gas tank at couple of fill ups and prayed. The Pathfinder has 4 cats. Replacement is very expensive. After two cans the check engine light went out and I got the car smoged. After about a year and a half, the light went on again. One can did the trick. I only went through a half a tank of gas after which the light went out. This stuff has saved me considerable dollars and aggravation,
