@@poggeraxolotl I'm pretty sure it works, if you want to test just place some terracotta around the elevator flying machine (next to the slime blocks) and then test the elevator to see if it works. If you have the elevator positioned like at 13:20 , you can move the barrel at the top a short distance higher above the elevator. Then once you place the terracotta around the slime blocks and the elevator to simulate the walls, you can activate the bottom piston by placing a block on the bottom observer (place a block below where I placed one at 13:20). This should activate the elevator, if it halts, then you know that the terracotta can't work, if it moves towards the barrel you placed higher up and stops when it arrives, then you know the terracotta works. I would confirm this myself, but atm I don't have time to launch Minecraft myself. Hopefully that answers your question!!

@@moodyisherelol it's not bad!! Just connect a redstone wire to the trapdoor at the bottom, you can just use a staircase and a few repeaters if you want! The world download is in the description, it has some examples of transferring signals from top to bottom! Play around, see what you can make

Do the walls connect to any other blocks? They should connect if there is a block right next to it. Perhaps it's a server issue? I doubt it though. Try it in a single player world to make sure. A clock also works, but it's much less effective. The principle of the wall connection is the same however, the wall is the one updating when the stone forms updating the observer, if you can get another block that changes when a block is next to it, you can use it instead!

Mcpe is bedrock, this tutorial doesn't work on bedrock I'm afraid. Only java, since sticky pistons work differently on bedrock

I'm not very familiar with the bedrock redstone mechanics, you can look online and find some bedrock elevators!!

@@wakze9018 the towers only use is to transfer a signal from the bottom button the top section. If you can figure out another way of transferring this signal, then use that instead by all means. The torch array is just the cheapest form of vertical transport that I can think of, so I used it. I've got some other designs to replace the torch tower in the world download in the description. But if you know redstone, you should be able to work something out.

@@TheGoldenDragonmc I am not good with redstone so do you mean that its purpose is that, when you press the button on top and the elevator is down it's gonna come up or what?

Also if that is the purpose does the last redstone torch have to be off because i have it on and it doesnt work like i explained

@@wakze9018 the redstone torch tower is used to bring a signal from the bottom up to the top. So when you press the button at the bottom of the elevator shaft, if the elevator is at the top, it sends it from the top, to the bottom. The last redstone torch of the tower is off, so when you press the button at the bottom, the signals of each of the torches alternate. So if they were off originally, they would be on, if they were on originally, they would be off. So the torch at the top, which is originally off, would turn on, and would activate the top section, and release the elevator from the top. Hopefully that makes sense? Again, the world download is in the description if you want to see a model of the elevator and see how it works.

If you want the redstone torch at the top to be off, then follow what I say from 9:22 onwards You basically need to add another redstone torch to the torch tower to flip the signals of each of the torches. In doing so, the torch at the top would now be turned off.

It's not possible to extend it beyond the limit natively using the pistons, but you can infinitely scale it along the piston array, so you can add as many pistons as you like alongside the rest of them. But that's only 1 axis. You'll just need to add more redstone, lava and water. To extend the other axis, what you can always do, is replicate the stone generator but flip it on the opposite side, facing into the same area, doing this you should be able to cover ground as big as 24 x how many blocks you want in the other axis, by joining the outputs of two generators. Think ingenuitively and it'll work! Could be tough going past 24 though, you may need to look into another design in that case.

Did you try building the torch array normally like at 8:29? Regardless, to flip the signal of the top torch (this torch is the only torch of significance) you have to add one more torch to the torch array, to flip the states of the torches, and so flip the state of the top torch. Try squeezing another torch to the array like I did at 9:46 and see if that works. If there are any more problems, there is a world download in the description if you want to have a look at the models!

No not really, since the observers are the simplest way of detecting a creation of a cobble block. If you are more of a competent redstone you might be able to find a way though.

I myself will be heading into uni now to explore the next chapter of my life, and as you've proven it's going to be harder to play skyblock and even harder to make videos like I consistently have been doing. All things have to end someday but it was good to have you guys along the ride ;)
