I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (June 12), this was the basis for our Sunday School Lesson for today. It was entitled "The Consequences of Disobedience." The following hymns are appropriate for this Scripture, regardless of denomination: "Great Is Thy Faithfulness," written by Thomas O. Chisholm (1866-1960), and "He Comes to Us as One Unknown," written by Timothy Dudley-Smith.
Hi, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Your Teachings!!! I AM SO JOYFULL to have Come Across Them!!! Thank You SO MUCH FOR Teaching The MILK of The Word! Honestly, I Believe that Some New Christians who were never taught well as a child, Learn to Chew the Meat of Father God's Most Holy Word, Before they ever even learn to drink the milk! So convicted right now! Lol
All calendars currently used in the world are subject to the International Date Line and Pope Gregory VIII's solar calendar with its continuous and uninterrupted cycle of 7 day weeks. Man has shifted the IDL's location several times throughout its history which began at its inception in 1884 A.D. This imaginary line creates an arbitrary division of days. You can simultaneously have one foot in the ocean on Saturday and the other on Sunday. Every time the IDL is crossed the weekly cycle is broken. This fact alone proves the theory of uninterrupted 7s since creation is based on fiction and not fact. The IDL's most recent change is currently playing havoc with the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Samoa. "Most Seventh Day Adventists in Samoa planned to observe Sabbath on Sunday after Samoa's crossing the date line in December 2011, but SDA groups in Samatau village and other places (approx. 300 members) decided to accept the IDL adjustment and observe Sabbath on the "new" Saturday. Debate continues within the Seventh-day Adventist community in the Pacific as to which day is really the seventh-day Sabbath...." "The date line poses a problem for religious travelers relative to the day on which to observe Shabbat and Holidays. Shabbat is on the seventh day of the week, which is constant if one stays on the same side of the date line. The problem occurs when a Jewish traveler crosses the line and for whom it is Friday but for the place the traveler is visiting, it is Saturday. There are several opinions regarding where exactly the date line is according to Jewish law." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Date_Line If the Gregorian solar calendar and the IDL are the only resources world religions have at their disposal for timing their holy days, they are standing on very unstable ground. The Creator's lunisolar calendar is the only calendar by which the true biblical 7th day Sabbath can be found.

There is a season for everything.... war is one...peace another... Would MLK approved of this president? I don't think so!!! He believe in freedom for everyone equal rights the right to bear arms. Balance of powers. Peace
excellent!
Thank you, Lisa. No, there isn't a sermon on how to develop that, but the best prescription is to read and meditate on God's word. If you really want to develop reverential fear of God, especially read the prophets. Meditate on the Psalms that talk about God's power, majesty, holiness, and righteousness. And pray that God will cultivate that spirit within you. He will do it.
Thank you pastor of New Hope Christian Church. Do you have a broadcast sermon on 'How to develop reverential fear of God? Lisa
