If your willing to spend a lot of your money I would recommend the new 3ds LL region free, ds lite, and maybe dsi xl.
What really annoys me about the Wii now is just that getting stuff like Wii remotes or (especially) sensor bars is really annoying since they're not making them anymore. So, looking for affordable Wii stuff can sometimes just end up down a rabbit-hole of weird 3rd party controllers and stuff that is made out of really gross plastic that like... sweats... Loved the video!!
The thumbsticks on the Wii classic controllers and nunchucks get really gross and the Wii consoles themselves get really gross looking
